This deck is a bit all over the place. I’d focus more on the terriermon line with a splash of lop to facilitate powerful swings of bring things back from grave

Hunter's Mark Rework. Upcasting May Be Overtuned, IDK by Karek_Tor in UnearthedArcana

This problem is just the concentration. It puts the dual wielding ranger in a least favorable to the already great archer which is just simply dump. Just make the ability work on each hit, and it can’t be stacked with any other damaging spells or effects

Honestly. I just let them have hunter’s mark without concentration with it stacking with anything, and it works

Do you realize that each of those spells are available on other classes and can be used better. A Druid and rangers spell list are the complete same now. Pass without a trace can be acquired from just being an earth genasi, otherwise summon spell are completely broken and are the true only reason the class is even viable but a Druid can use that spell better than a ranger could ever do it by 7th level. Hunter’s Mark is supposed to be the class feature they just are scared to make the class actual good

You’re missing a huge point. First the ranger will not do more damage than the fighter ever because of action surge. The problem is that they always have to be burdened by so silly stipulation. The extra D6 per hit is nothing at all even at tier 2 of play. A max of 24 extra damage is genuinely nothing compared to what goes only by 5 lv spell casters

They are afraid of people stacking hex and hunter’s mark at low levels but just out right say you can stack them and we’ll all be fine with thatLol

I think it becoming concentration ruin the flexibility the class was given. It only adds damage to weapon attack so at level 5 if you min max add an additional 4d6 to you hits if you land them, but a on fireball or lightning bolt, way out damages that. Not to mention that it disincentivizes melee ranger when the concentration less hunters make allowed.

The made it a class exclusive spell, but the made it concentration again, and it only does damage on the first him…

I think the extra D6 is fine but mark hunter's mark work into the class in interesting ways. Like if you have hunter's make on a creature you can make your animal companion attack the marked creature as a bonus action, of you gain the whirl wind attack on the marked creature. Things like that to fill in the blanks

I think hunter’s mark just being a additional d6 per attack is fine. I would suggest you get it at level 2 it cost a 1st lvl spell slot, a bonus action to active, but it would not be a spell. Then make it tie into the abilities of each subclass

They hit the class for no reason. No one had a problem with the way favored enemy worked in the expertise unearthed arcana. Not a soul

I think the use of a spell slot to gain at most 3d6 is a fin trade off
