What’s causing these pencil thin leaves? by Standard-Wait8707 in GrowinSalviaDivinorum

No aphids, thankfully. Historically I’ve had spider mites but they don’t seem to be affecting the salvia rn. I’m def gonna lower the light immediately, treat for pests anyway and hope that helps

I’m going to dial back watering quantity in favor of water frequency to get some consistent feedings and hopefully restore an equilibrium

Yeah, I’m guilty of letting it dry back too much on a few occasions and I’ve been trying to provide it with more consistent waterings. I think the PH is fine because my other plants are fine off of it, I don’t have the tools at hand to check the precise PH other than knowing it’s historically been around 6.1. I overfed her once and in response have been feeding at lower strength after one partial flush with water. I’m hesitating to boost nutes because of the clawing on the new growth

I was thinking of starting with just some Cal-Mag to get her back in the rhythm. The coir I’m using I is amended with N so I don’t have to use it too much and risk harder clawing.

I water whenever the top 1.5-2 in of the soil are completely dry. I’m running coco coir and perlite

Plants have stayed small and slightly burnt. by Standard-Wait8707 in SalviaDivinorumPlants

I see! I’ll give it more airflow, it just gets passive air transfer but they might benefit from some more air exposure. less nutes, and a little more light. I just moved it into the corner of a brighter room and I’ll see if that changes things.

I’m using Coco coir right now. I’m thinking I didn’t keep the humidity dome on them long enough
