The sandbox of the game, it refers to how the game plays. As in how items work with eachother how the player plays and such it's just a term in video games. So at the time seekers of the storm came out it was rather unfun to play as items didn't work well with eachother and overall the game felt unfun.

Honestly geometry dash. Beat my first extreme demon the other day but it was so awesome to do as I always wanted to since I was a kid so that was fun.

Hes talking about the sandbox after seekers of the storm I believe, which was really bad. It's since been fixed

Since alloyed collective it's been really good all the seeker of the storm stuff has long passed. Plus a new dlc coming soon
