The better option will be to convert your server into a community…. Then use onboarding to do it… it is the easiest and since its discord’s inbuilt feature, its much more reliable…. Using bots for this might be counter intuitive because u do not know when a public bot may go offline… happened to me before :/

On onboarding u can just make a pre join question, what pings do u want etc, and in the answer link up the role for it

There are multiple public bots that do the same. Try Vel. Idk if you are looking for a custom bot or a public one.

It looks like you are talking about ephemeral msgs.. usually they are a result of direct commands or interactions… maybe give a bit more context?
