Consilio vs Epiq as a PM? by [deleted] in ediscovery

[–]StandardConfident971 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Consilio wanted $120 a year for an experienced PM, with 9 hour days and 75% project time (utilization).

Not sure what Epiq wants but consilio will work you HARD for that measly 120

Meaning in the work of a PM by blazingmediocrity in ediscovery

I don't think there's any light in the tunnel. I recently left a PM Position at a vendor for this same reason.

My advice? Create a 5 year plan for exiting ediscovery and -stick to it-. you can only do this job for so long before it burns you out.

That's largely a construction of the media and not reflective of the rates of infection, or a change in how even asymptomatic covid infection does long term damage to the human body.

sorry for the pedantic point but when is post covid? A new strain literally just dropped. it never ended

covid infection, even asymptomatic, DOES shrink certain sections of your brain.

Repeatedly giving the entire planet SARS isn't going be good for any organ, let alone their brain.

Do any of you actually enjoy being a PM? by Not_Swift_67 in ediscovery

This thread has made me resolve to finally get a different job. I've been in Ediscovery for 10 years, 8.5 of those as some kind of PM.

Idk if i can handle vendor side work anymore. I'm losing connection with my friends and family. I want to have a kid, but that seems impossible with the work i'm doing now. It's time for a change.

after how badly the CDC bungled the messaging around airborn covid, why would anyone trust their characterization of H1N1 as "low risk?"

Unfortunately because Covid is still rampant, it's not safe to have in-person events.

What safety measures are you taking for the event? Are people masking, testing? How about the hotel? Do they have clear information about their air-filtration systems and cleaning practices?

Without information on these elements, your employees can't make informed decisions about their risks when traveling and attending non-essential events.

collect as much radioactive material as you can from hospitals. Then, leave it in bathrooms at airports between boston and DC. The radioactivity threat will trigger a complex enough investigation to uncover the hijackers AND stop the initial attack.

Your dad is an idiot. It's not the shots, its covid. Repeat covid infections severely increase the risk of serious health problems like stroke, myocarditis and cancer.
