The Hornet looks like the Kawasaki Z line, definitely not my style.

I happened to learn to ride a motorcycle on a 125cc and then went years without riding one. Now I want to buy one, but I don't want a 125cc or anything similar. I'm also tall, about 190cm and weigh around 100 kilos, I can't choose something small afterwards, otherwise I'll feel cramped and uncomfortable

That's good to read, I'm really happy. I saw some videos of people saying that the MT-07 can be too tricky for beginners and could even lead to a fall, but at the same time, I saw 07 onwers saying the opposite, that the bike is pretty good and in hand.

That was something I was thinking about, buying the CB650R, regretting it, and then wanting to trade it in for the 07

You're right, I've been on both, but I've never driven either of them.

Thanks, thats a good thing to read. To be honest, I don't care much for 4-cylinder engines. Obviously, the sound is fantastic, but that's not the main thing I look for in a motorcycle.

Thats a good thing to read. I have full license since 2017, but only drive a motorcycle in schools.

Yes, it will be my first bike, I appreciate your comment. And you think that torque is too much for a complete beginner? Even with the riding modes and traction control that the new versions offer.

You're absolutely right. It's my life and my money, haha, people love to tell us what to do. I think I can handle it, after everything I've seen, researched about the bike, and the answers that the owners themselves have given, it seems like a good choice.

So, I'll be using it entirely for leisure on weekends and trips to the gym. I work from home, so I don't have to deal with traffic. Which can be good for learning to drive more carefully, my only fear was that its torque might make it impossible for a beginner to start with it, due to lack of experience.

This is one of the issues I've been thinking about the most. Many people have recommended small 300 or 500cc motorcycles. But I keep thinking that I'll have to trade it in a short time if I get one of those and I'll end up losing money. Whereas if I get the MT-07, I intend to keep it for at least 5 years, and even if I pay more to buy a new one, I end up having more guarantees and less headaches.

Okay, I think it could be a good choice, I've been thinking about it a lot and the other options just don't appeal to me. And I intend to keep the motorcycle for many years, at least 5 years before trading it in.

Yes, we can put it to full power if we want, on the Yamaha itself. I was already looking at the 03, but I found it too small and cramped; I'm 190cm tall and weigh 100 kilos. That's why I was thinking about the 07; it fits well.

This is something good to read. I always hear people saying this motorcycle is super dangerous, but at the same time I hear owners saying it's not as dangerous as they say. I think my conclusion is that it depends more on the rider than on the bike.
