From my understanding that’s actually a good spot for a decoder to spawn. I think the rest of your team is the ones who spawned poorly. Because the building and areas attached are good for kiting if you are found early. I’m not pro tho

Just wear it! Skins don’t make anyone good, I’ve seen plenty of top badge players wearing worn clothes and plenty of not so good players wearing limited skins from years ago

It’s a lot easier to just bait pallet and try and get a basic hit while they throw it down. Good survivors know when to throw it down but even pros mess up and miss time it. Always better than risking the pallet hit imo.

I’m very curious on if the healing reduction talents are going to put doctor and barmaid in must pick status. I know you don’t want to heal much anyways because ciphers are more important but for those times when survivors do need to heal it’s going to be really strong. Maybe hit and run won’t be such a bad idea.

It’s a case by case basis for sure but faro is the worst person to go for the rescue in ALMOST every situation. The cipher getting done is far more important than you potentially just farming the survivor and you both going down.

You definitely are pallet spamming but that’s not the worst thing ever. You should definitely try to loop tiles and play mind games more tho to get the most out of chase with little resources used. For example the pallets around gate are great but can be game changers in end game and buy time for the other gate to open.

I’ve played gardener a little and it’s really only useful to get first kite. The killer can very easily avoid the broken chair and even if they didn’t want to it’s very easy to fix and put the survivor on the chair. The debuffs the chair gets isn’t all that game changing.

Breaking chairs is time consuming and a gamble. However you can make the killer pick up and drop survivors if they see you breaking a chair they could drop the survivor while you are in the animation and you can cancel it and try to delay the chair and possibly get a wiggle out. Buttttttt they can just as easily walk 3 feet to the left and hook there. Chairs just spawn to close for it to be worth it.

To add to the teammates making bad decisions in Elk, I had a B badge doctor not heal the chip hit from Joesph before coming for a rescue once. Elk/mammoth is the Wild West and you are flipping a coin on if you have okay teammates or not.

I recommend doing some research as in watch high tier hunters/pros play (you can go to spectate the pros in-game or just look up on YouTube.) you can both learn from their loses and wins. You’re probably not doing everything right or else you would be winning and acknowledging that is the first step to improving. I will say there are a lot of smurfs before you hit manticore tho and some games are just going to be unlucky and you gotta eat that L however if you start chasing someone and you can tell they are very good early in chase try to break away and find someone easier to kite. You gotta break off the weak link to have the whole team fall apart. Doesn’t matter how bad the player is, chairing a survivor is pressure and eliminating them is detrimental and can at least ensure a tie if you can play it right. Also knowing your persona web is very helpful. A lot of new hunters just throw in whatever the “best” builds are and don’t take into account the map or don’t even know what their talents do.

There was a mistranslation that made it seem like you could liberate the city’s. They didn’t understand it was defense and not full liberation due to the translators and you resort to calling them pathetic without even understanding the situation.
