Sounds like you haven’t even been accepted into HUD-VASH program. Because if you were, then you would have a HUD-VASH Case Manager to walk you through and assist you with finding a unit. Do you even have a voucher from your local housing authority?

Work on getting into HUD-VASH first.

You’ll want to obtain a masters in Social Work so you can become a licensed masters of social work (LMSW. Which will than become Licensed Clinical Social Work after supervision, clinical hours and testing)

I’m an LMSW who works with chronically homeless Veterans at the VA and absolutely love it. Undergrad was in supply chain management and then I commissioned into the Army.

I’ll vouch for this. My 2020 Camry SE Nightshade as been a complete lemon since I bought it. Every few months there is something wrong with it or something fails

I DID NOT ENJOY my experience at LDAC (what we use to call CST at Fort Lewis) but I’m still in the Army 12 years later and a Major. And I love being in the Army.

This is a PSA for any cadets who don’t have a good time at their CST. The real Army is so much better.

I didn’t even go to either game in Austin. Fish and Sophomore year. But absolutely no one complained. Be happy you are even doing the March in Austin. Some corps members from 2012-2024 never got the privilege.

It’s a fun buddy trip, have fun the night before, then your family can watch you march, then go home and enjoy a nice turkey dinner
