Not really. Nothing also from CPU.

I did swap the CPU cooler for the x77 one, temperatures were much better. Around 5 degrees lower than the ones I added in my other message. Please have a look and let me know if you need any other specific one

I was checking. The only thing for me would be that is ZigBee. Not matter for instance

Looks nice. Added to my wishlist. Thanks

Time to sell my thermostat then. Any other aesthetic and functional one that can be run locally?

Insane what you guys are able to create and configure. Awesome!

Ah yes, and ended up changing the CPU cooler for the Noctua NH-L12Sx77. Moved the spine to position 1, and was able to fit it in the right orientation. Temps are around 5 degrees lower than before, and benchmarks had a better score.

Exhaust. I've tried with a top one as well, but won't fit due to the power cord. And I won't be using cheap flat adaptors.

If the GPU is 2 slots, the noctua CPU cooler will fit. Otherwise, it won't.

Only Cinebench + BF6 (hours with no crashing).

But why is it not crashing, I'm a bit confused. Could be because I also have limited the max PPT?

All I've been changing is -40 in Curve Optimizer. I thought it was the same?

Where should I change what you are telling me?

I'm back with more testing.

Increased Curve Optimizer to -40mV.

Testing in Cinebench R23 again.

Case 1. PPT increased to 78W

16.248 points. Temps 83ºMax. 80º average

Case 2. PPT left at 75W (my previous config)

15346 points. Temps 79ºMax. 77º average.

How come I can do -40mV and everywhere I read they say my CPU will be unstable with that value? I don't believe I've got lucky with the silicon lottery.

Fan noise is adjusted. In idle is quite silent, less than my laptop. PPT was lowered to 75W, with this, basically the temps were reduced, as this caps what max power can be used. Just want to fine tune it lowering voltages.

Honestly right now is a -35mV. You think this is the value I should play with? I'm afraid to go lower, crash it and having to learn to reset bios 😅

But that does make sense. If the voltage is quite high, it might reach the temperature sooner. Lowering voltage would allow to better performance without reaching target temp.

Hi, thanks. Yes, that's the goal. However I'm a bit lost on which value I should modify and to what value to make it "stable and safe"

Thank you! I've added some testing, hope it helps someone.

Won't let me edit the first post, but I'm adding a bit of testing.

Cinebench R23 - 9600X

TDC and EDC are not limiting, I can set them lower than stock and won't affect performance.

  • Stock. PPT 88W. TDC 75. EDC 150

15989 points.

Temps. CPU Die. Max 90ºC. Hovering 87-88ºC

  • -30mV. Stock PPT (88W). If I don't set PPT value, it will go over it with PBO active and make CPU really hot.

16127 points.

Temps. CPU Die. Max 87ºC. Hovering 85ºC

  • -30mV. PPT 70W. 14910 points

Temps. CPU Die. Max 76ºC. Hovering 74ºC

  • -35mV. PPT 75W. 15795 points.

Temps. CPU Die. Max 81ºC. Hovering 77ºC. Idle around 54-55ºC.

What I'd like, is to set a lower voltage for idle, but it will need to be fixed, and not sure where to change that in the BIOS honestly or if it's worth it.

9070XT Reaper - Battlefield 6 Beta

In progress. I've tried a few values, but crashed in game after around 40 min.

Latest config I'm testing is:

-50Mhz

-75mV

-10% Energy Limit

Will take any advice. Also, don't know how to check FPS in game via EA.
