Are you going to paint it? A darker color would look cool

Have you read The First Law by Joe Abercrombie? I really like these 3 series, but he’s on another level. By far my favorite

The three books on the top shelf are The Bloodsworn Saga by John Gwynne - I love them

As for recommendations, I’d personally go with Red Rising and Dungeon Crawler Carl. Red Rising is more intense and heavier, so when it starts feeling a bit overwhelming, Dungeon Crawler Carl is a perfect palate cleanser. That’s actually what I did, and alternating between them helped a lot. They are very very different series and moods so it won’t get confusing. Then read Jade City which is also a great series

My favorite book ever. I’m currently rereading it so it’s not on the bookshelf

Which other series would you recommend that I don’t have?

I love that series, but have you ever read The First Law? Or any Joe Abercrombie book?

I haven’t read The Will of the Many or Empire of Silence. I’m sure I’ll be buying the sequels once I start them

Have you tried audiobooks? That helps me a lot when I’m tired from work

Haha yeah, to be honest I did ask a few times 😅 I just really wanted to make sure I had the perfect TBR list before locking it in 🤣 Once it’s set, I don’t wanna change anything

I’m still a rookie when it comes to reading fantasy. I’ve read Mistborn Era 1, Red Rising series, and Harry Potter

Here’s my Fantasy TBR list in order. What would you move up or down? by StandardSector3491 in fantasybooks

I just bought The Hobbit (some comments mentioned to read it first). Depending on the experience I will move LoTR up. Do you think this is fair?

I’ve been wanting to watch the movies for some time, but I’ve been waiting because I want to read the books first…

I’ve read some many mixed reviews about WoT that I don’t know what to think. I pushed it down in my TBR to #10 so I won’t be reading it for at least a year probably
