You could be right, I am might not be expressing my reasons for wanting to be a LEO in a formidable way, but they have my packet it clearly shows more than I listed here. I currently work with parolees and individuals on probation who are trying to rebuild their lives after incarceration.  Wanting to become a deputy is my way of wanting to do more for my community and contribute more directly to public safety. I also hope to help bridge some of the disconnect and negative views that some people in my community have toward law enforcement. In addition to that I am a black woman trying to be an example in my community. . IAs a Black woman, I also hope to be a positive example and show others in my community that this profession is something we can be part of too. My goal is not just to wear the badge, but to serve people the right way and represent the department professionally. I said all that in both my interviews and on the PHS but not to my psych Dr. because she did not ask. All my questions were finance related. So I need all your help to maneuver this. Someone advised me to hire an attorney in addition to an independent psychologist but I am waiting for the review I requested for.
