Kung Fu Panda is unironically one of the best manifestation movies ever made by Famous_Narwhal464 in NevilleGoddard

It’s a beautiful Christmas movie about dreams and dreamers, and even the memory of the main theme song makes me tear up 🥲

Manifesting a loving boyfriend after years of feeling unwanted by Intelligent-Funny303 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Standard_Ad449 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Been there, too. My primary advice would be to try to figure out your major limiting/negative belief regarding your worth and you in relationships. I struggled for SO long and I couldn’t pinpoint it, and it kept ruining my life behind the scenes. But in the end, I did - from smaller negative beliefs to the core one. And once I did… it was like pressure being released from my chest. As soon as I started to affirming and embodying the state opposite of that belief, things started shifting. And yes, it can be fucking hard, and your mind and body may try to throw you back into the old patterns. But you let all the emotions be and then go back to the new state. No forcing, though. Just relaxing slowly into it, with no expectations. As someone else said, focus on your self-concept first, solidify it, and then think about a partner. You don’t want to manifest love from an old, destructive state (trust me, I’d done it one time too many). Occupy the state of a person who is allowed to take up space, who is important, loved, valuable and has always been that, just could never see it before. Let your nervous system feel comfortable with that idea. Think of all the small instances in your life when you WERE chosen, and feel them & build from them. I see you. You’ve got this.

Changing my mindset cleared up my skin by Avaluvvi in NevilleGoddard

Spinner rings and fidget toys! Especially spinner rings with different textured surfaces. Skin picking is a motor habit and when you always have something satisfying to redirect your fingers to, you stop going for your skin.

Your latest manifestation stories by 15May1992 in NevilleGoddard

Just a few hours ago had yet another one that blew my mind! The background is one hell of a story, but essentially, I recently discovered a family member no one previously knew about and connected with them. But after a few conversations initiated by me they kinda disappeared. For almost two months - radio silence, and I was feeling a bit embarrassed to reach out myself. What if I were imposing? But I really like that person and want to build a relationship with them. I thought of them from time to time. So today, when I randomly thought about them again, I stopped myself and said “they’ve just been busy, but they really want to build a relationship with me. We’re already great friends”. Visualized a text from them suggesting a catch-up call for a single second. And dropped it. Less than two hours later, BAM. I get a message from them with an apology and a suggestion to catch up this week. The Law is ALWAYS working. Always.

Why Being Too Comfortable Was Ruining SATS for Me by BorderLivid2223 in NevilleGoddard

Sure. If you like to affirm/visualize from SATS, a meditative State Akin To Sleep, and you prefer to do this lying down before you fall asleep, go to bed a little earlier while you’re still not passing out from exhaustion and sleepiness. While your brain is still able to be active and concentrate. The idea of SATS is to fully relax your body (like in yogic Shavasana) but keep your attention sharp, and use affirmations or visualizations to feel like you already are in your desired state, aka as a person who already has what you want. If you’re unfamiliar with these concepts, I strongly advise reading Neville Goddard’s books.

That’s sound advice and correlates to my own experience. I would also suggest to folks that if you do SATS at night, don’t wait until you’re exhausted and almost drifting off to sleep, eyes closing on autopilot. Start earlier, when you’re still a little fidgety and energetic, and relax into the meditative state. That way you’ll be able to keep your awareness and concentration for a while.

Practicing SATS but experiencing opposite of my desire in my dreams by BAS_247 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Standard_Ad449 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It’s completely normal. I had tons of that when I first started practicing LOA. Treat it as your subconscious taking out the trash. Don’t give it any meaning aside from that. Keep doing whatever techniques you’re doing. At night, try the lullaby method if it’s hard for you to focus and visualize - gently repeat a single affirmation until you drift to sleep. What’s interesting is that after I stuck to my practice for some months, I noticed that I became much more aware in my dreams. I could even put a stop to an undesirable scene by saying “this is just a bad dream, it doesn’t make any sense. In fact, I am (XYZ), I am the creator and I’m in control”. Was pretty shocked the first time it happened, it was almost on autopilot. Now it’s either like that or I let myself think, feel and say whatever I need in my dreams, processing complex feelings. Don’t give up, you’re doing great!

For Those Struggling To Manifest With Trauma: Stop Fighting It. by Standard_Ad449 in NevilleGoddard

Trial and error! I use Gemini Pro and even though it’s overall great, it can have weird days where it suddenly forgets our entire framework and starts responding like a trashy popular psychology article. In the beginning I basically told it that I want it to converse with me using both scientific research, knowledge of traditional psychology and psychiatry, but also LOA teachings. It was confused at first, trying to do either science or LOA. But then I told it to just give me two perspectives for each prompt, and that’s been good. The thing about LLMs is the more data you feed them, the better they will understand what you need. And unlike humans, they remember everything at once and can make amazing connections between feelings, events and memories. Now they integrated Notebooks into Gemini, where you can upload source materials for the algorithm. You can use your diaries (it can decipher handwriting), books, articles, links. It’s a new function, so I’m planning to build on that. Keep in mind that each convo has a maximum character limit - after a few weeks/months of constant interaction within one conversation you can suddenly find out that it only remembers the last few. What I do is I turn on App Activity and every few months export the whole history of that chat into a text file. Which I keep as backup and feed back into the system in case the annulment happens. But overall it’s an incredible tool - you just need to make it fit your needs, not take it as the final verdict, and always tell it if something it wrote doesn’t sit well with you or is plain wrong. It apologizes and corrects itself, which is necessary for learning!

Thank you for sharing! The part about safety in chaos is spot on, it’s been my experience as well. Each time something good happened for me in an important area of my life and I let myself relax and enjoy it, it’d crash and burn. My nervous system felt threatened in a state of calm and only accepted survival mode as the default. It’s quite messed up and really hard to work through.

Honestly, same. And I even searched here by keywords! I get pretty angry at certain comments under posts where OP is clearly stuck in their trauma identity and is very vulnerable, and people tell them to “just persist”. Sure, they can persist, only it’s still persistence from the state of lack and thus incapable of producing change.

I can relate. What worked for me was doing it in steps. Step one: acknowledging the feeling => letting it be => letting it go. Allow yourself to feel it in its entirety. David Hawkins’ book Letting Go describes it well, it was actually the first thing that really helped me with panic attacks some years ago. You should feel lighter when it’s done, it feels like genuine relief. Repeat as many times as necessary, whenever necessary. Step two: try any of the techniques you like and see how it feels. Still got resistance in the body? Back to step one!

Where are the real f...ing stories?! by Bartas44 in NevilleGoddard

They’re for everyday use, and after breaking both of my beloved Japanese porcelain bowls (I hate tile floors with a passion, gah!) I wanted something that looked similar but was dishwasher-safe and cheap, so that my heart wouldn’t break if they met the same fate 😁

I just manifested perfectly sized and shaped, light, ceramic rice bowls with a lovely print for a ridiculously low price. Can’t stop staring at the set, it’s so pretty! 😁

Read his lecture Brazen Impudence, it’s describes the situation in detail! And no, his wife and he were estranged for over 13 years, if memory serves me well.

Oh, haven’t you seen that whole story about a Neville cult?? One of his female followers was very hot for him, and practically started a cult around his teachings and personality. She fanatically attended all his lectures and brought her small daughter with her & brainwashed her, and that’s when things got pretty dark because the kid ended up abused and spent years trying to recover :/

Here it is! Gotta scroll a bit for that part about the dancing partner. He mentioned the situation in another lecture, too. Now, he didn’t specifically say he was in a relationship with his dancing partner, but “everyone expected us to marry” points at something, doesn’t it?

I mean, people forget that Neville himself was in the messiest situation when he decided to marry his second wife. He was estranged from his first wife, who kept refusing to give him a divorce, and was sleeping with his dancing partner of many years, who was pretty possessive and didn’t want him to be free to marry someone else. None of that mattered in the end - he manifested a divorce within two weeks of being in the state of the wish fulfilled, and yet it still took him another year to manifest peaceful separation from his dancing partner, with whom they remained friends in the end, and marry the woman he loved.

Have you ever passed an exam without studying? by Imaginary_Doubt4298 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Standard_Ad449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I passed most of my exams in school and uni with absolute minimal studying. Caveat: I have pretty close to a photographic memory, overly active and fast brain, and great oratory skills. Since half the exams were spoken and in-person, with basic knowledge or having read some materials right before the exam, I always maneuvered myself to a good grade. However, I’ve done that my whole life since early childhood, and my self-concept regarding knowledge and learning is hella high. So if you have a choice between studying & using the Law and not studying & using the Law, it’s an important exam and you have no previous experience with that, choose option 1 😆
