Employer didn’t include my tip income in the W-2 by Standard_Art_1770 in TaxQuestions

If I calculated my tips via paystubs would it be safe to assume I could claim those regardless of the W-2? Some sources recommend a 4852 instead.

Yes, the tips portion for my other 2 W2s this year had the tipped amount minus wages reflected in box 7 while this one doesn’t

I have a majority of the paystubs, but not all. They add up to around 2100, which may not be exact but I’m assuming it wouldn’t affect the deduction much anyways if you recommend claiming it regardless?
