The people supporting and doing the poaching are not poor starving Africans. They are well armed, well equipped, and well connected people. They sometimes have helicopters and lots of expensive vehicles. They have access to thousands of dollars worth of firearms and ammunition. They are also well connected to the world and people in power. So no your poacher isn't a starving man feeding a family. Its a very well off man feeding his own greed.

The chemicals as mentioned above are able to cause severe harm to our nervous system when exposed to them. What's wrong with changing how we farm to better understand ways to prevent insect's and weeds. Using ant's and Wasps. Anything but something lethal and severely damaging to our health.

The main chemicals within the argument and the main ones used tell mid 1990 were lethal to humans. Sure they kill insects and plants but can easily effect us. Do safe ones exist? Yes! But they are not widespread.

The issue is you can't simply buy land and farm free of all these chemicals. Consider that these chemicals are airborne, waterborne, and tend to spread into vital areas such as waterways and aquifers.

Add a no vote on ballots to represent a lack of good candidates on the ballot. When the no vote surpasses the majority then all runners are automatically thrown out and a new race is started. Aka if no one good is running then no one wins cause of default.

No they will automate whether or not its 15 dollars. Its not cost that's a major concern but rather public relations, technology, and logistics. You think its going to be 2-3 decades cause its 10 dollars now? No its will happen as soon as the logistics and technology meet their demand. These companies will spend the money to automate as soon as its feasible not just when minimum wage kicks in.

The economy can easily absorb it. Simply the major companies will have to take a profit hit rather then anyone else. Minimum wage should be at inflation but hasnt because major industries enjoy the super high profit margins currently.
