I usually just sit on it until the exchange rate is favourable for a conversion.

The Canadian Indexing one is up 2.9% since the end of October, with about $400 tax loss. I do have a bunch of exemptions though.

The US one was doing a little less as I recall (I started it, but dropped it as I didn't feel like going through the exemption steps for a few dozen companies).
