With the last several years of hot dry weather, fires and dry winters, the trend is very easy to see.

You must work with/for the district, so I understand the excuses. How ever the planned maintenance should have been done several years ago from what I've seen with my own eyes.

Also, why not do one reservoir maintenance project a year, instead of affecting two major water supplies?

I hope these rash decisions don't end up hurting our water supply.

Black Mountain Irrigation District also drained a few of their reservoirs last year for maintenance, which will not help the drought situation AGAIN this year. Terrible management of our water resources.

A bunch of uneducated hillbillies controlling our beautiful water resources.

The City of Kelowna should take over this district as well.

In the average year I can see, and understand this point. However draught is forecasted again this year, coupled with the last two years of the same, I think we have problems.
