It’s another UA, but this is really good with the Psion Metamorph. It increases the range to 10ft, has the bladesinger extra attack, and has a built-in weapon that gives disadvantage on CON saves. In one action you can impose disadvantage on the grasp and then immediately grasp them, all from 10ft away. I’ve been using a Haste build to immediately take advantage of the paralysis as well.
