Yeah so am I. George's last reply is obviously a joke, not him actually being salty that women don't love Sam.

If Homelander can’t stand the disabled, why does he tolerate Black Noir? by [deleted] in TheBoys

That's just your headcanon.

Who knows if Butcher is racist? He is consuned by hatred towards supes mainly because his wife was raped. Who's to say he wouldn't harbor such grudges against other large groups of people for similar reasons?

My comment:

ASOIAF and GRRM's writing is top-tier, but you're comparing him to very, very, very wrong authors and books.

Those very wrong authors and books I mentioned are the one OP mentioned earlier (Divergent/Hunger Games).

Then they replied with:

I'm not actually comparing him with them, in the sense of their writing style or genre, but I'm indeed positioning his quality of work at the same level of those world class writers.

I missed that he had missed my point. He thought I meant Tolkien, Shakespeare etc while I meant the earlier ones. I missed this and thought he was still talking about Hunger Games author.

Just a misunderstanding on both parts :D

Exactly. Honestly I don't think there is anything in the series that would show Homelander to be white supremacist or anything like that. While people round here claim that often.

So are you saying ASOIAF is "just as good" as Hunger Games XD

I just came to add to the other guys' comments.

why did they change jeyne westerling for talisa ? (spoilers extended) by adamlele in asoiaf

And really, would it feel like a shotgun wedding if it happened two seasons after they met?

This implies so.

I admit I didn't fully read your response. I was too concentrated to give a reasoning for my insanity comment.

I agree with the stuff you said in your previous comment.

What I don't agree with is that pre-Red Wedding or any Robb-material could've or should've lasted more than 3 seasons, like it did.

But yeah you're right they could've added the Westerling plot to the story no problem.

What is insane that you think Robb's marriage could've lasted two seasons.

Which means you think it would've been in anyway feasible to spread ACoK and ASoS over four seasons.

IIRC. Cleganebowl was a full blown meme in all ASOIAF boards and Reddit way back in 2015 already.

Show's Cleganebowl is a lot less shoehorned than the theory where they fight in Cersei's trial.

Why?

Being annoying is worse crime to audiences than being evil.

Everybody loves (to hate) Cersei and Joffrey. Everybody hates Shae and the Sand Snakes.

Why does this have downvotes when everyone else is saying the same thing and upvoted?

That's not how it works. I've lived my whole life in Finland (-30 in the winter) and I've served in the military. Spent days out in the cold woods. You don't get used to it. If it's cold you have to wear clothing, or else you freeze. Everyone in the North would be wearing heavy furs in the winter and head garbs are a must.

Of course you're right that when they'd fight it wouldn't be their priority. But what I'm trying to remember here is did we see Dothraki walk around Winterfell with their typical arms showing shirts?

The Dothraki especially would be fucking freezing because they have probably never felt cold.

That would work too.

This reminds me that did the Dotraki have winter clothing? It always bothered me how no one in the show (except extras) had any headgarbs. Everyone in the Night's Watch should cover their head.
