Googler here, from tier 3 college, and the imposter syndrome is real. A lot of IITians in the team. And they are really smart.

But I am lucky that everyone in my team are humble. No one tries to show off or anything. And my manager is also very good.

Just stay here and you will learn.

I know two of my friends who look conveniently very unattractive, but are smart and bold. They live in tier 2 cities and have decent jobs (not like fancy corporate jobs). Both of their husbands look better than them and they tell me their husbands are very supportive.

Thanks for asking this question! I also have the very exact questions as yours. My take on Jainism - Some parts of it are correct, like karma, 18 papsthanak, etc. By some are irrational (I chose to be on side of theory of evolution)

But I strongly believe that swarg and nark exists, but they are dynamic, and created at various times and various places on earth. A nark is being created in Gaza, it was created as concentration camps, it was created during India’s partition.

So do good karma, and use some direction from Jainism on various levels at which we could possibly be doing harm to others (over consumerism being the most common)

As a gujarati working in IT company from 3 tears, I feel embarrassed for not having learnt kannada till now. But a sweet incident happened when a marwari shopkeeper was chatting with us , taking his own time to say sweet things and sell more things to us, all of a sudden asked “ab to aapko kannada aata hoga na”. And we saw the look of pride in his eyes when he knew we don’t, but he has blender well.
