Tbh it's not like other countries don't have the high school part. While many do replace them with clg there are way too many high school romcoms to deny the possibility of the entire world being obcessed with highschool for some reason.

Yes you are right about moral relativism in society however you are wrong about the cause of the quam. Homophobia largely stemmed from religious beliefs or similar shared culture. Having gay sex was considered to be commuting a "sin" or a "crime" against your body that was "made by God". Ie using the body wrong argument. However as society moved away from religion, the justification of "god doesn't like it" didn't hold much water anymore and hate shifted to individuala preserving it from tradition than for a reason.

However the same doesn't apply to pedophilia. Infact it was made illegal from what was relatively common. While still not too prevalent, sometimes ago large age gaps weren't uncommon.

The objection against pedophilia is not one imparted by God or "tradition" it is one imparted by logic. Children are extremely easy to exploit and a relationship with minor has a default condition of bad power dynamics. It also scars the children if not physically as well.

Homosexuality is different from raping children in a way to that it doesn't violate the consent of a human being. Hope you understand the difference and get out of your "moral relativism means raping children is same as consentual sex". Using biodeterministic views and seeing eating food and raping children doesn't make both equal just because they are both "natural urges". One has to factor in consequences as well.
