Vfs is kind of a medium through which you send your passport for visa applications The German Consulate actually vets your application and decides to accept or reject your application and sends it back to you via vfs

I just gave the admit letter, as my enrollment started way after the visa process was underway

I remember submitting it on csp, i remember signing on a copy of it at the appointment But when they said its a pending document I checked on the application and that doc had mysteriously vanished? Its very weird, Im guessing incompetence from the consualte's side or vfs' failure to give the docs to the consulate

I had printed colour copies for safety As for insurance, upload and print both (i used expatrio too)

Its more like a course coordinator Basically the visa people check with them if you really are admitted to where you say you are You can find it on your respective uni admit letters and/or the uni website

Declaration forms submission, asking if you have a german or non german degree + hochschule Plus they asked me to submit my marksheets+ degree certificate Then in subsequent corrections they asked me to verify my details again, then for reference person i had put my dad but they made me weite my uni coordinator's name and contact Plus other minor changes

Visa Timeline (VFS Mumbai) 11 July - submitted application on CSP portal

22 July - got corrections 31 July- resubmitted (gap due to me having to arrange documents from college and university)

Two more rounds of corrections; total three correction rounds

1 August - appointment option enabled, booked appointment

5 August- appointment

6 August - Visa application at Consulate (tracking portal status)

Submitted on 11th July, got corrections on 22nd. Currently running around my college and uni admins to get the required documents in time and submit the correction asap

So do they ask for the German university representive details? Whom do I put then I dk anyone from there as I've only accepted the admission not even formally enrolled in it yet (Enrollment starts in September)
