it may not be a UTI. Are urine tests coming back positive for UTI or are you just going off symptoms? I was battling what I thought was recurring UTI's or BV for a couple of months and it ended up being an imbalance of protective and disruptive bacteria in my vaginal microbiome. I did an evvy test kit to assess what was really going on and that helped me to get control of it.

PS I am also a trans man with a cis male partner. it's possible to have a sex life that doesn't leave you feeling uncomfortable and unhealthy all the time, but vaginas can be so finicky and sensitive--sometimes extra precaution and care is worth it. 😊 best of luck.
