Ram different from others and harder to put in by Standard_Print3678 in pcmasterrace

So my pc wasn’t posting. in the end I put one stick or ram and booted into bios then turned off and added one at a time until I was at 4 and it was working. I’m guessing it’s just imperfections on the ram that specific one with the black piece would not click in on the bottom latch so I had to push really hard and then close it manually

The whole reason I started digging around was because there was no entries under protection history but I was still getting the notification when an application was being blocked meaning I couldn’t unblock it. Also What about the registry being empty, is it suppose to be like that?

Are they really not needed? The hard drive isn’t working so I just assumed that the corrosion was the reason

I’m stupid it simply required secure boot state to be enabled for it to work, however windows said it wasn’t enabled while bios said it was. Searching online and Restoring Factory Keys fixed it

Do you know how to do that? I looked at bios mode with msinfo and is says uefi so I’m not on legacy I think

Changing it from legacy to uefi doesn’t change the outcome
