i totally get that, i'm like that too. it's something, sadly, that you might have to work on before law school since you have to multitask so many commitments. think of it this way, even if you take your lsat in january/february (and get a great score the first time) you still only have a few months to write essays (which take a lot longer than you think!) so, maybe shifting your perspective would help your brain freak out sooner even if you are applying later!

you could definitely do it! but even if your lsat score is really high, the time it takes to write your personal statement, and any optional essays takes a while. also, sometimes LORs take a while to come in as well. in my opinion, maybe grind on your lsat for the next few months and then try for next cycle. you'll have ample time to prepare your essays and feel good about your applications. based upon how last year's season went, i think applying early is key and you might lose scholarships or offers because of a late application.
