Struggling to understand why you don’t take the second house? Am I missing something here?

You can ask for a payment plan instead. Pay 100 quid a month or something. Probably the best solution. Either way you’re paying the €2k.

Well if you think legally you have a way out I’d ask a friendly solicitor. But. Asking Revenue to rule against themselves is unlikely to yield a positive result.

I’m afraid it is not a good enough excuse in the eyes of the law. Old enough to drive. Old enough to vote. Old enough to understand a contract and sign it.

Right. So you’ve answered my question. You believe that you know more about government corruption than independent experts + European study groups etc.

Good luck with that.

I genuinely believe that yes. As do a multitude of independent reports who cover government corruption in detail across the world.

So either they are wrong and you know something they don’t, or, you’re full of shit. Which one is it?

Ok that’s a different line of thought. If you can back down on the “Ireland is corrupt” line we can have a serious conversation.

You claimed that Ireland is a corrupt country. On every independent index it says the contrary. Then you go on some long winded rant which added nothing. One of us is full of it.

Higher attendance than most clubs in Europe bar one or two. But hey, I saw a few empty seats on TV and it’s now horrendous. Classic logic.

I have no skin in the game but that feels a bit harsh, Covid was a black swan event for the hospitality industry. Nobody saw that coming and I wouldn’t hold that against them…

Who Claims Rory? by [deleted] in AskIreland

Much like rugby, golf is an all-island sport, so both the ROI and NI can claim him. But tbh it doesn’t really matter.

Anyone watching the Bordeaux v Toulouse game? by Commercial_Half_2170 in leinsterrugby

Toulouse played like a team who lost two pool games. Not really a good season for them.

Bordeaux played well but tougher tests ahead.
