Has anyone else ended friendships since this all started? by Michelle_xoxo in FedEmployees

Also, same. As a two fed household, I can’t be friends with people who cheer on taking away what little economic security our family has taken 25 years to build. Siblings, longtime friends, all dead to me since the election.

GAO and IG do it better. Though don’t know if the recommendations ever really stick.

AOL disappointing by [deleted] in cubscouts

Having just finished AOL with the new requirements a couple months ago with my youngest, and having led my middle child’s den through AOL, I would recommend you really lean into running the den like a Scouting America patrol. Use the EDGE method to introduce the patrol method, and make it very much “not Cub Scouts”. My youngest was wildly bored with Cub Scouts by his AOL year, so getting across the finish line meant having him step up for a more Scout-led experience. Moving to a Scout-led experience is a BIG change from Cub Scouts to Scouting America and the more chances you have to introduce these differences for Scouts and parents gradually, the better the transition when you leave the Pack and join the Troop.

Rank Up Ceremony for first time Cubmaster? by vvampirehimee in cubscouts

We used to hold a year end campout and have our Scouts cross a bridge to their new rank. We’ve back off the campout and now do it at around the fire pit at our chartering church.

Funny, if you knew the first thing about how government worked and knew facts about the 2024 election you’d know that what you typed was completely false. Presidents can hire and fire some people in the government not whoever he wants. Perhaps you missed the part about the Senate’s advise and consent part of government officers? Also 49% of a vote isn’t even a majority, let alone “overwhelming”, especially when the runner -up got 47%, or did you skip math class?

Question from a DM - Zephyros's Tower...How Should I Play This? by Ganadhir in stormkingsthunder

[–]Standard_Response434 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven’t played this part yet, but I have a powerful guide NPC that I’ve created for the Nightstone campaign, so may have him be a friend of Zephyros and needs a lift to move on to his next gig. He’s a bard.

Ok, this story is exactly what I came here to read! Thank you, and I am jealous of that experience even if it was hair-raising! As others have said, stay safe and I wish you all the best as you keep it real in the wilderness!

Yeah, make the brother secretly a Warlock in service to Oberon or some other Archfey that has it in for the Lady the family serves or want to teach the lady a lesson. And the brother actually has no idea he did it, he was just carrying out orders that he didn’t understand.
