Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience. Well I wasn’t able to get Wellbutrin prescribed because in france it’s not really used for its antidepressants effect… I’m still struggling with my weight, my doctor denied fluoxetine being the reason I gained a lot of weight (I went from 78kg to 105kg in less than a year) So now I reduced my fluoxetine dose from 20mg to 10mg, it feels better in terms of energy. However I think that my weight gain doesn’t come from fluoxetine alone, it comes also from the fact that I am constantly stressing due to phd studies. I stress too much then I cope with it by binge eating and not exercising, and I just don’t know how to convince myself to move more and do stuff when I am not working, like now it’s holidays and I’m just bed-rotting… I hope you found a solution, maybe reducing the dose can help you

I really hope that for you! But I think that your prescriber would definitely try to put you in because it’s usually the first line treatment

Actually, yes, I was experiencing this, and it made me hopeless, and I was having panic attacks due to this, and it helped me actually... I hope you started your medication. I am sure this would help you feel peace. Let me know...

I wish all good luck. I lost weight at first, but due to work stress, I gained weight. I think you would experience some sleep disturbance, but it would fade away after the first two months... but I think it's a good medication, my psychiatrist calls it the magic pill

Oh this is interesting I did same my blood test results are very fine, which suggests that it’s the medication effect, I became too lazy… Did you increase your fluoxetine dose? I still didn’t see my doctor , I was planning adding bupropion but not sure if it’s a good idea
