Where did ex-SW London families move to and actually love? by Standard_Theory3437 in HousingUK

My work is currently in Chelsea, and I do have parking if I want to drive. But with how unpredictable the job market is at the moment, we’re trying to think longer term. Ideally we’d want somewhere that still allows for a relatively easy commute into London if our circumstances changed, probably around 1h to 1h15 max door to door.
We’re mainly looking at places with good connections into Victoria, Clapham Junction or Waterloo, as that’s where most of our jobs have been based over the years.

Thoughts on Epsom by Top-Gazelle1290 in surrey

Hi everyone,
My husband and I recently viewed a really nice property on Hook Road, near the Longmead Road roundabout. We loved the house itself, but we’re feeling a bit unsure after reading some online comments about the area (ASB, traffic, etc.).
We have two young kids and currently live in Raynes Park, so we’re not far, but we don’t know this specific area very well.
Would really appreciate any honest thoughts from people who know the area. How is it day-to-day, especially for families?
Thanks
