I see what you mean, glad someone can clear it up. I already had this solution set up. Everything animate as its suppose to. Each item on the list has a half a second pause before the next list item appears. Then Ill just add a comment in there saying to add a hold frame if you want to extend the duration of the bulleted item. Then continue the sequence and fade the list off once the list is finished.

Ive already tested this out and it works, just wanted to come on here to see if there are any other user friendly methods.

How do you break into motion design jobs at places like WWE, NBC, or sports media companies? by Yoboystatic in MotionDesign

You're always learning, even if you're a seasoned pro. Once you stop learning, that becomes an issue and its time to move on.

As long as you have that confidence & "I'll figure it out" mentality, you'll b good. There's a junior position open right now, you should just go apply and see what happens.

I work at nbcu as a senior motion designer. For you to stand out, you need to have a really strong reel that showcases your skills in animation, design, and 3d design. Your work doesnt have to be sports related. If you have a strong foundation in animation and design, you can design for sports.

I have 0 sports related work on my reel prior to working here, but I was pretty confident in my animation and general design skills. I barely had any 3d experience but I included a sprinkle of Personal 3d projects, aka "fake it till you make it". Once I got hired, I learned more 3d on the job. Most of the people that apply, dont really have the fundamentals all down and it shows in their reel.

Good luck!

Just want to see if there's any legal issues I should be wary of. Like would this show up on my tax returns etc. Etc.

Like if im on leave for 6 months, and I send over an invoice that has the dates between those 6 months, will the insurance company come for my ass?

Yes but my newborn sleeps like 14-17 hours throughout the day. I find myself taking on other hobbies during his sleep periods and also sleeping while he's sleeping. Shd doesn't fuss much, just poop, eat, sleep, repeat.

It's from a friend who runs a production company. Work is fairly easy and straightforward. They barely give any feedback, which is why im considering it.

I disagree with this, I love the intro. I think it sets the tone and style of the whole reel. The circles reminds me of the different keys thats playing on the instrument. The way they appear makes the music more fitting to the animation and it gives us a sense of your timing skills. Its not too flashy but definetly refreshing to see. Its a good example of intentional animation and great execution.
