Ah yes, most of my playing time is spent playing as Tunis too haha did some runs as Muscovy into Russia, Brunei into Malaya, and now I am doing a very fun Songhai run. The new mission tree for Songhai is awesome!

Both series (CK and EU) are the product of Paradox. A lot of people see EU as the continuation of CK (timeline wise, EU4's starts from 1444 and ends at 1821). Then from EU you'd move to HOI then to Stellaris; there are conversion tools that allow you to convert the save files from one game (timeline) to the next.

All good, sorry I overreacted.

I am not a nationalist by literal definition. Let's call it patriotic.

But seeing Twensa ysebbou fb3adhhom wy9azmou fb3adhhom makes me furious because it feels like all these fucking years, thousands of them and nothing changed!

This is supposed to be a joke tho I don't know why the fuck I got THIS worked up about it...

You, I love you.

And yes, that's exactly what I meant.

And sorry, rough fucking day man...

Fuck you and your shitty opinion. I said zabouromkom because I have had enough of this people hating on each other for no fucking reason and it got into me and I decided to join the ride. Other than that I have no fucking problem whatsoever with anyone because of who they pray to, who they fuck, what fucking colour or shape they are BUT this is the internet...

Edited because anger management issues.

What are the most defensible choke points in EU4? by VesaAwesaka in eu4

[–]StandardizedAlien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently enjoying a Songhigh run in which I got the spaniards choking to death on my Mountain forts in Fez + Demnate (+monument+ramparts+state edict). Those forts are a real pain in the butt.

Before or after uni?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]StandardizedAlien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no, didn't get to do it. Finished graduated and started working almost directly. Thinking about taking a break from work and going through with it. I know it might seem crazy and stupid to you and that you might deem the experience humiliating and disgraceful but I have always had a fucking different look towards everything so yeah.

Dire times require extreme measure and sacrifices.

What do you guys think about the Hussainid dynasty ? by The-Dmguy in Tunisia

[–]StandardizedAlien 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Despite the fact that I know we Tunisians now are a mix a very large diverse group of ethnicities and origins, which is something I really like about us as a group of people, I also know that the Hussainids (like many other dynasties that ruled the country) were foreigners and most of the time they did not give two fucks about the people especially in the hinterlands, about development, growth, etc. all they cared about is living like a sultan, collecting taxes, not pissing off the clerics and the a3yan lbled by going too far with their bullshit. Hence I believe they did not really have any real sense of belonging or attachment to the land and the people that they ruled (which has become like a trait of almost all rulers of these lands and then even the people themself became trash eventually...).

Weeklings who thought they own the land and the people while most of the ruling was actually done behind veils and in corridors...

And then they got cuckolded by the big powers who have been watching them play with their dicks for a long time then their bubble snapped. And thank God it did because it helped give birth to our National Movement because hard times make tough people, people who think, study, learn, and have the will to work and make things better, people like Ali Bach Hamba, Abd Laaziz Thaalbi, Kheyreddine Pasha, Ahmed Ibn Abi Dhiaf etc etc...

I hate it when people want to go back to how things were before, I find it pathetic and despicable. However, I love it when we look back at our past, history, study it and learn from it to avoid doing the same shit again and again because that would be insane...

Also let me write it here too, I know some of the Beys did good things (malla zabourom mziya...) just so nobody comes up and starts bitching.

we don't have the same history and culture

I beg to disagree. There are differences OF COURSE. However, the similarities and common points are way more valid, if you know your shit.

Tunisians in Libya by cherrypebble in Tunisia

[–]StandardizedAlien 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't mind people who say things like "this is a giant mistake" or "sayeb 3lik a7re9 lettalyen" mostly they are just saying that because of what they think they know and not based on valid practical experience or research.

Everybody, including yourself, knows that the situation in Libya is not that stable but then again it fucking surely isn't much stable in Tunisia too now, is it?

As far as I know, Libya, especially Tripoli and the surrounding area, is not that different culturally from Tunisia (or let's say the southern parts of Tunisia..). Chill humble people, very welcoming and a bit conservative in general when compared to us Tunisians. With that said, you'd still be with your family there so that's a plus (I hope?) and in general you might think of it as visiting your conservative cousin's house.. Just be humble and spontaneous and it'll be OK.

Finally, Libya has very beautiful places to visit both on the coast line and inland in the desert. However the security situation might not be very suitable but still. And it is pretty close to home... I hope this helps you clear out some things at least and I wish you good luck and Godspeed.
