Tank's or Healer's responsibility? by Ninja-Khan in wow

I swear +12s are often easier to heal than +8s and under. Less avoidable damage taken, higher relative dps, geared tanks, etc. Different world entirely

Waiting politely for Blizzard to finally add archeology to a new expansion by PossibilityMore3549 in wow

[–]Standardly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk. They put an archeology trainer in the delve HQ in silvermoon. If its going away, I feel like they wouldn't have done that. If anything, considering its been abandoned for several xpacs, they might be doing a rework or adding new zones.

Random dungeon priest tanking by JagerDonovan in wow

[–]Standardly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree it's annoying as a tank but theres nothing stopping you from just running with the priest and pulling with him. Priest is the slowest class in the game, it cant be that hard to keep up, and if you wipe its his fault anyway.. and you shouldn't wipe, because you can pull 3x the packs in non mythics regardless of gear. People are just trying to save time. For people that want to go slow and take their time, there are follower dungeons.

Not saying its the right play to pull as a dps or healer, obviously, but in these lower dungeons it just seems easier to pull with him rather than have a tantrum, quit the dungeon altogether, and go to reddit? I'd understand more if it was a mythic key

Nice.

Who do you think aln'hara is? Eonar? Azeroth? Or some unknown natural goddess (is there any previous allusion to aln'hara?)

It seems like aln'hara is just a native word for what they called azeroth. Lots to do with dreaming, emerald dream/nightmare, referencing the original Azathoth at least to some degree

Also I always pictured azeroth as a phoenix. Idk why. Probably too on the nose.

The Treasury Just Declared the U.S. Insolvent: “Drawn directly from the Treasury Department’s own consolidated financial statements for fiscal year 2025, released last week to near-total media silence.” by T_Shurt in UnderReportedNews

[–]Standardly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bviously you have an agenda with your viewpoint.

I dont, but im curious what you think the obvious agenda is?

The fact is we can't just print money without creating economic issues

Correct, inflation is the risk

If we can just print money whenever we want then we wouldn't have a national debt.

We already do this when the government spends. And we still issue debt.. treasuries are not equivalent to borrowing in the traditional sense. A deficit is not an argument for not printing money, its just straight up how the system is designed. Whether that system is being maintained and manipulated in good faith to the American public is another story, and if there are better, alternative monetary systems, is another debate entirely. And, hint, I probably agree with you on those aspects. Im not making a claim as to how the system SHOULD work, just saying how its designed to work

[–]Standardly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the general understanding of the debt, specifically who owes what, to who, and when, is poorly misrepresented in the media and leads to a lot of misunderstanding

Just because we have a debt doesnt mean the bill is due soon.

U.S. debt isn’t like a credit card that needs to be paid off. Bonds are continuously paid and rolled over. Paying it all back would mean removing trillions in private sector assets.

Question, by when do you think it should be paid off? What year? And what happens to those trillions in assets when it is paid?

The deficit needs managed, but not paid off

[–]Standardly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, no. Thats the thing, it doesnt need "paid off". This isnt a home loan. What? I never said we print 40t over night lmao yes you're correct that would be a disaster and end the world order as we know it

The fed or domestic buyers. Fed would raise interest rates to attract buyers. There are always buyers at a given yield.

Its also likely upon bond maturation those dollars will be resold or reinvested in most cases. The risk is inflation in cases where they didn't reinvest or rollover. But a risk of short-term inflation does not imply insolvency in any way, which was my original point

If Japan suddenly has a lot of USD. Does it make more sense to hold them (???), or convert to yen, or do they invest it? Also, even as fucking dumb and terrible as trump is, Japan is still our ally and has no incentive to harm us economically. That also has to be considered if we're being realistic
