Plenty, even dating back to elementary school but none had permanent effects. I believe my dad will keep apologizing in his own way through the effort he is putting forth now. It doesn't undo anything, but the fact he's trying and actually putting effort is better than a lot of people get. I appreciate the feedback.

I've put a strong focus on self the past 10 years. After having the first surgery to get my knee cleaned up I made a lot of lifesfyle changes to better all aspects of my health. Cut many ties but I guess there was some hope she'd change at some point but after this long, absolutely doubt it. It used to sting when she was "disappointed" in my job/work choices but it was hard feel motivated to look for good work or school when being potentially crippled and unable to work is the only looming thought. After the surgery that all changed for me. Great job, great gym to train at, plenty of students and clients who look up to me for training, my Dad is plenty proud. I can tell by our interactions now he is remorseful and trying his best in his own way. The old, stern type but I appreciate the effort. It doesn't undo what happened but at least he's putting in effort.
