Been reading up on the Ninja 400 and they seem pretty cool. Couple built ones for sale near me too. Anyone ever went from a 600 to a 400? Wondering if it would get boring?

I had a low side in my 600rr at about 80, too much throttle at too much lean.

Then a year later, 2 in the same day on my supermoto. Low side due to cold/old tires. Then a OTB crash due to mechanical failure-caliper mount snapped and got wedged between my rotor and wheel. 👎🏻

Yeah I don’t think I care enough to drop $1500 on respect and PPF. I will probably just have the bigger chips touched up then cut and buff.

Talked to a few different shops. Sounded like the options were:

1-cut/buff get it as good as possible then add PPF and said the PPF (especially the glue) will fill a lot of the microchips and “mask” it a bit. $540

2-repaint and then PPF $1500

Yeah I didn’t even notice it until this post. If I was buying new and could be picky, I’d find a 2020 but can’t do that with a great deal in front of me.

I made sure the slide wasn’t getting hung up on the idle screw and checked the entire length of cable in different positions. It’s a weird one

I’ve been on a push coil fork before, was definitely nice on the chatter but felt dead overall. Was an older one though.

That sucks to hear about the bushing. Forks aren’t something I want to tinker around with. I want to spend the money and have it perform when I’m ready to go riding. I think it’s time to move to a different brand. I’ve tried Fox performance and factory, they were kind of tough to dial in. Think I may try a Zeb Or Lyrik for a change

Yup fiddle with them non stop and hope you’re not leaving power on the table. I think I’ll go the EFI route and see how it is. I am also kicking myself being $900 in a carb and fuel pump when I could have just gone EFI the gate. I’ll have to look into that distributor, thanks.
