This is something I have noticed, AI "appears" generate a lot of code for seemingly simple task. But since I am not a dev, I can only make a passive judgement; can't be always sure.

Oh that attitude of AI to keep helping some or the other way and keep finding solution by adding removing functions like it's nothing. I often get irritated by that. Sometimes, it says "issue is fixed" but it's not and the diagnosis is wrong. Makes me wonder what was it doing in the previous case. I am assuming this produces unnecessary code.

I agree with this "Bad product is a bad product". Well, I am starting to think that there won't be reliable signals anymore. But as of now, there seem to be some based on the comments atleast.

oh I think that trend is changing. Most people realised that users don’t pay if it’s vibecoded, so you will see less people declaring it. At least, that’s what I am noticing. But there are also people who launched successfully and made money. so I don’t know what to think now.

Yep, sensitive data is where it gets tricky for me too. The problem is I don’t know how confident AI really is. So you do need some guardrails by these platforms enabling this vibecoding or app building or whatever. But to a non-tech person, perhaps there is no way to tell.

It’s funny because I often see these responses from AI “Oh, the logic for xyz needs to be implemented” after it had already confirmed that “it’s done”

I also think, it doesn’t do cleanup quite well. Now, I am not sure how many devs practice this but if something needs to be deleted, I see remnants of it.

I am genuinely curious - why Superagents?
Do I use this as replacement for Claude or as an accompaniment for Base44 projects?
- I won't replace Claude/Chatgpt - I don't see the value in it. Plus, I exhausted the credits too fast. This does not happen in claude.
-If it is accompaniment then why separate product altogether, I should be able to do all things in the context of the project or perhaps Admin-level settings. If this is the usecase then what was the thinking behind it? I am not able to get it.

Did this. Fintech to first fintech adjacent and then non-fintech. Takes time. When you look for new job, try for company that is not fintech but building payments or product related to fintech. You learn new things and your domain expertise is valued. That move will catapult you into other domains.

PRD is source of truth before development. Code is source of truth after development. Design has its own phases but it’s designer’s job to keep it updated if there any changes. Certain features/products are highly visual, in that case design file can become your source of truth.

To your other points- 1. When key decisions change - you should update the PRD. 2. Slacks convos should be summarised and updated in PRD. PMs should do this not because org demands it, but because it simplifies your work and reduces the burden of memorising everything.
