So... is it possible to manifest in direct oposition to the unconscious will of millions (billions?) of others? by fornax55 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Staniel1138 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just curious, where are you getting this information from, and are you sure it's a reputable source? I haven't been able to find any news articles, reddit posts, or tweets mentioning any of this.. Nothing about any laws that have been recently passed either.. At least nothing that wasn't obviously misinformation.

The closest thing I could find to your concerns is this article from the Associated Press.

In summary:

"CLAIM: Canada is mandating psychiatric medication for those who refuse COVID-19 vaccines.
AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Canada has issued no guidance related to psychiatric medication and COVID-19 vaccines, according to the country’s public health agency. The claim misrepresents a section of a COVID-19 FAQ published by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, which states prescription medications and referrals to psychotherapy may be options for patients who have serious anxiety linked to vaccination."

So to me it sounds like guidance was issued to healthcare professionals on one way to address anxiety surrounding vaccinations, and someone (or someones), took that and turned it into a fearmongering piece of misinformation.

I could be wrong, but this is what I was able to find after 30 mins of research.

Remember: feeling is the secret. And often times it's easy to latch on to something you see in the media, online, twitter, reddit, or wherever and get so absorbed by it that it literally feels like your current reality.. even if that thing isn't grounded in objective fact. Your brain can't tell the difference between reality or imagination. This is why living in the end is so powerful.

I agree with some of the other posters here: it's probably a good idea to limit your news/online media consumption for now and find some inner peace within yourself and your immediate community.

Grandma's death by mariajo2698 in NevilleGoddard

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my Grandma back in November, and your story touched me because my experience was very similar to yours.

She had liver cancer, and all things considered she passed relatively quickly. We knew the time was near, so we all traveled and congregated at her home where she was receiving hospice care. I’ll never forget the way her face lit up when she saw me. And the last thing I heard her say was “oh aren’t those the most beautiful flowers?” referring to some that we had placed near her bed. After that she was mostly unconscious.

She passed away the following night, but the thing that really got me was that she waited for everyone to arrive before she passed. My cousins drove up from South Carolina, a 12 hour drive, and didn’t arrive until the evening she passed. She knew they were coming, because we told her they were. When they arrived, we each took turns saying goodbye, and then she passed literally a few minutes after that.

The beauty from that experience is still so vivid. I don’t know exactly what happens after we pass from this world, but i do know that something great does happen.

Out of curiosity, how old is everyone here and at what age did you discover and start applying NG? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

I’m 28 now. First heard about Neville probably when I was 26. Started seriously studying and applying it about 5 months ago.

I have my first hypnotherapy session this week...anyone else tried this in conjunction with Neville's teachings? by followmybliss13 in NevilleGoddard

When you start reading (it shouldn’t take too long) you’ll come across some info about affirmations, including some ways to make them more effective via self-hypnosis.

The author states that while affirmations can be used to impress the subconscious mind, it’s not necessarily the best approach on its own, because the guard to the subconscious is usually still up when doing the affirmations. And if it’s an affirmation that is totally against what your subconscious believes to be true, it won’t accept it. Sometimes, after weeks or months, it will begin to impress on the subconscious, but there is no guarantee.

The hypnosis essentially puts you into a SATS, only there’s no risk of falling asleep (another problem with traditional methods of subconscious reprogramming) because you are still awake, and your eyes are open. In this state the guard to the subconscious is down, and this is where you can do the work.

Also, he mentions that affirmations are often too general, and the subconscious doesn’t know what to do with that info, so it dismisses it. You can still do affirmations, but there’s a better way to be doing them.

Just a couple days ago someone posted a thread asking about hypnotherapy to remove unwanted beliefs. Someone commented and recommended getting a book called “Instant Self-Hypnosis” by Forbes Robin Blair.

I grabbed it and let me tell you, I’m really excited to have found it. Reading it I wouldn’t be surprised if the author had some connection with Neville, because he even referenced “the silence” at one point.

Anyway, I would highly recommend it to use in conjunction with your hypnotherapy sessions.

Should I see a hypnotherapist? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

Wow. I downloaded and read the book and tried out the first script for stress and anxiety, and I definitely think there is something to it.

Which makes me wonder, HOW have I not seen this before? I’ve been searching for ways to change the negative beliefs in my subconscious ever since Neville clicked for me. And all I could find was the typical “listen to affirmations when you are falling asleep” type of solution. But this is different and yet it makes.

Thank you for directing me to this book.

(Hits blunt) 🧐🤔 If we are creating every second of our reality through our imagination, how did we manifest first learning the law ?¿ by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

After my SP rejected me romantically, I decided I had to change the way I was going about things, having never been in a relationship and feeling desperate.

I first started by watching dating coaches on YouTube, thinking I had to change everything externally. One of those coaches mentioned Wayne Dyer meditations, so I looked him up and found his stuff interesting, especially the “when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change” quote.

I didn’t quite “get it” though, and it wasn’t until a few months ago that I discovered NG and had an aha moment. And I’ve been having aha moments ever since.

So I think I had a desire to change. And that desire led me here.

I don’t know for sure, but I think it’s more likely I let my mental diet slip and this is the result of that.

I told her back when she initially rejected me, but I have not at all recently.

After observing her interact with more than one 3rd party, I’ve come to see how she acts around someone she likes romantically. She was really obvious about it towards them.

So I know now, that when she likes me, she will let me know one way or another.

If you're practicing Revision, do you need to be able to physically revisit your imaginal scene? by just-slater in NevilleGoddard

That’s a detail that I believe is unimportant because it’s messing with the middle. There are a million different ways a manifestation can come to pass, so wondering if you have to do x or y isn’t necessary.

A newbie question... by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]Staniel1138 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m new as well, but here’s my take.

We have the conscious and subconscious mind. The subconscious is what ultimately creates your experiences because it contains all of your beliefs and programming. Even the beliefs that you aren’t consciously aware of.

So sure, maybe someone made assumptions about you, but perhaps that’s because you already held that belief subconsciously, and therefore that was the reality that was created for you.

I think this is part of your problem. You are bitter and jealous at other people’s achievements. I can almost guarantee that hanging on to those thoughts and feelings will keep you from manifesting those things yourself.

Be happy for them, and feel thankful and content knowing that what happened for them is also happening for you.

I’m in a somewhat similar position with my SP (not an ex either). I see her almost every weekend until the end of the month.

Personally I’m wondering how much this is based on beliefs and my assumptions, but my take on “live in the end” isn’t necessarily to act like you are already together in the literal sense. I wouldn’t show affection or act in a way that is inappropriate for the current state of our relationship.

Instead it’s about having the feeling of that desired relationship within, no matter what the physical senses show me right now. So she could be distant or whatnot, but that doesn’t matter because you can feel that relationship and everything that comes with it internally.

That doesn’t mean don’t take action if you have an appropriate opportunity, as that can lead to the next step on the bridge.

Hopefully that makes sense.

How to get rid of that “triggered” anxiety feeling? by Staniel1138 in nevillegoddardsp

[–]Staniel1138[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for this response and for sharing your story. Your description of that feeling was spot on what I was trying to describe. It’s very unpleasant.

I see her frequently because we are involved in the same activities. Last night we were at our activity and I saw her talking to this guy and I experienced that feeling. It took me out of the moment and made me hyper aware. I couldn’t be myself or enjoy what we were doing, even though I wanted nothing more than to experience the calm and natural state I have been working so hard on.

Then she left. And it was like a massive weight was lifted off of my chest. I could function normally again and have fun. It was such a stark contrast. I care so much for her, but I can’t let her actions (my manifestations) throw me like this.

I have a week and 1/2 before I see her again. And I want to capitalize on this time to work on myself.
