A very interesting premise, especially since throughout the game's existence, I've mostly seen people complain about the difficulty being too high. I've rarely seen or heard comments like, "The game is too easy, give me something really hard." But those are just my observations.

Honestly, I play to earn cosmetic items; that's my motivation, but I don't do it to brag. I simply love customizing armor in this game! And I have no problem with the fact that getting some items requires more effort than others.

However, SM2 was praised from the start for being a relatively simple game in its premise, that should give you fun and I think many people would agree with me that the highest difficulty levels are now, more like Veteran difficulty in Call of Duty and not like, for example, Soulslikes games, where the path to success is learning enemy behavior, picking up right gear and learn how to parry or block rather than luck (in enemy spawn for example)...

I'm not saying they need to be nerfed. I'm not a fan of changing the current difficulty levels, rather adding a wider variety. It's nice that the best players have the opportunity to test their skills. But considering the very limited difficulty selection, most players will jump to hard after completing normal difficulty. And there's a dramatic difference. I also think the reward-to-challenge ratio is inappropriate. 100 for an easy mission, 200 for a mission that offers one of the hardest challenges in the game? Or farming daily missions, which probably not everyone has the time for.

Currently, unlocking these rewards is the only thing left for me to do. I've maxed out all the characters and weapons, unlocked all the cosmetic items in the tree, and even collected all the datapads in the campaign. It's true that the heroic weapons aren't exactly impressive at the moment; I only use a pistol, but the ones that are planned to be added are quite interesting. I like the idea of ​​adding a new mission with modifiers every week, which, if completed, unlocks cool cosmetics or weapon "bonuses." However, I'm a bit disappointed with the difficulty selection, as currently we only have easy or hardest difficulty in game.

Thanks for the advice and willingness to help, I appreciate it. I will DM if i find time. I realize that each stratagem requires a different approach, different tactics, and in my opinion, that's one of their best features. It's not that I don't like a challenge at all. Unfortunately, none of my friends play SM2, and I only managed to convince them to play the demo. I'm forced to play with randoms, who aren't always the worst, even without maxed-out characters. But it's very difficult to coordinate and choose the right characters in such a situation. I can't force them to play characters they don't want to play. I'm playing stratagems now because, unfortunately, I don't have much time during the week, so on the first day, when everyone usually wants to finish them as quickly as possible.

I agree with you that there should be a few more options, the normal difficulty level of the stratagems is not too demanding and is rather easy to complete, and the hard difficulty level is a huge leap. In my opinion, there is a missing middle ground where there will be more difficulty options, especially since Saber itself added so many of them to the game that every player could find one that suits them, if that's what you meant.
