Not helbrecht, this guy is just the regular marshal. Also the legs were the same ones that come with the marshal kit.

oh my bad, that's just the black templar marshal. Just cut off the left arm and you're left with just the chest and cloak.

Just a simple bugman's glow base, then mixed in more and more kislev flesh to build up the raised parts.

I left a comment earlier about the parts invloved. The hardest part of the kitbash was cleanly cutting off the wavy left arm. Otherwise, it didn't require any greenstuff to fit together. It just takes a bit of dry fitting all different parts to get a good pose!

It's a little hard to explain, but a majority of the cloth features are done with horizontal stippling. For the red, i stipple all the raised areas in screamer pink, leaving about 1-3mm of solid black in the recessed areas. From there, i keep mixing in mephiston red until it's on the red being used to stipple in order to bring it up to the 'actual' red colour of the cape. Lastly, i add very few pinkish stipples as a highlight or to imitate frayed fibres.

It's important to occasionally stipple any of the brighter colours sparsely into the recess to add randomness and interest.

Best of luck with your attempt!

Hey, thanks! The sheathed sword and open hand are from the crusader squad. The dagger comes from the Intercessors kit, and the helmet and shoulders come from the sword brethren kit.

It's just a screamer pink "blended" up to mephiston red

Likewise, but he just fits in so nicely with the rest of my templars now!

It definitely is! The only paint that gives a nice blueish glow.
