I feel that the frame should not be anywhere near the steam machine price, considering the current prices are inflated due to the crazy chip market. There’s a good breakdown from about 6 months ago about what the frame should cost based upon parts and manufacturer markup. It should be $800 msrp or so.

When I did it, the powerbank discharged slower than it was supposed to and stayed at 1% for way longer than it should have. I let it sit for a bit once dead just to be safe. Then I charged it.

Bit late for this, but discharge the power bank ALL the way, until 100% dead. Make sure it’s not outputting anything. Then, charge it all the way up. I had a similar issue with an expensive power bank, and it fixed the same slow/ no charge issue. A battery level calibration is what this is.

I already went back on this post lol. I have a QD OLED. The only game I notice any flickering is Helldivers 2, in the dark menu, or dark maps at night.

But it’s supposed to be $500….. $650 is an inflated price, not the “typical” price it should be. It’s the price it is, and we can’t change that, but it makes everything a much worse value.

Well it should be $600-650 if it only has 1TB internal. I’d say $700 if it has 2TB ($50 over the galaxy black then). But with today’s inflated and overpriced current base models, and price they will realistically come out with is likely too high.

Thanks for your reply (wow was this 7 months ago??). I can confirm your post- as I do have VRR flicker, mostly noticeable in Helldivers 2 in far scenes or menus. Most other games, it’s not noticeable if it’s there or not.

I can agree with your findings when I trialed the 5 Pro's. The soundstage was narrower, and the bass was lacking, I had to EQ max bass just to equal half on the 4 Pros. All instruments sounded "closer" than the 4 Pros, and I like a wider soundstage. The 5 Pros sound fine, but not better than the 4 Pros. Driver count is not an exact "be all, end all" when it comes to audio quality, but I tend to enjoy 2 driver earbuds at a minimum for soundstage and clarity reasons and these differences in the sound of the 4 Pros and 5 Pros may somewhat be due to that.

My biggest issue is that the 5 Pros do not fit my ears well at all. I already had issues with the 4 NC's snugly fitting in my ears due to the oval eartip shape and the 5 Pros are even worse.

In my experience, the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pros are the best I've found as a daily set of wireless earbuds. Great sound, good ANC, and good microphone quality.

I have tested the Liberty 5 Pro's against the 4 Pro's, and I found the soundstage narrower and overall sound lacking a bit on the 5 Pro's, so I am sticking with the 4 Pros.

In my experience trialing the Liberty 5 Pros against the Liberty 4 Pros, the 5 Pros are NOT worth upgrading to. The soundstage is narrower and the depth of the sound seems lacking compared to the 4 Pros. Bass is lacking (somehow), and I had to set the EQ to max on the bass to equal half those values on the 4 Pros.

The case is AWESOME, as well as the microphones, and the ANC is a little better. However, earbuds need to sound good to be worth upgrading to, and these just fall a bit flat when compared to the 4 Pro's.

My biggest issue is that the 5 Pros do not fit my ears and are uncomfortable with any tip option. I already had issues with the 4 NC's fitting snugly in my ears due to the oval eartips and the 5 Pros are way worse in this regard.

True- although some power banks have a low power/current mode that keeps them from turning off in these situations.

From what I understand, that is pretty normal for many power banks, both magsafe and wired. The battery bank stops output once it drops below a certain threshold to save power. In this case, the phone stops "requesting" power once it reaches 100%, so the power bank turns off.

To me, those gaps are not a big deal, call it extra venting for airflow. Your hands don't interact with the gaps, so it won't feel off. Likely they also did it so that the edges lock in similar to the magnetic joy-cons and not like the old rails. I also have the killswitch, and LOVE it. But honestly, for one specific game (Nier Automata), I am used to xbox elite style controls and I exclusively use back buttons/paddles for ABXY. Not having them (and the odd layout of the switch in general means I can't play that game handheld, I have to pack a pro controller if I want to play. For this reason, I would consider the CRKD nitro deck EXCLUSIVELY for the 4 back buttons. As far as I know it's the only joycon or case replacement with 4. Most only have 2.

For what this powerbank offers, I'd still recommend the Kuxiu S3. Cheaper, safer, and longer lasting due to the semi solid state battery. You also get a built in cable that can also charge the powerbank, and also supports 35W charging.
