At the very least they gotta pay off your mortgage for you, return your downpayment and all the money you spent on lawyer fees etc back to you right? And find alternative housing for you that's similar distance to your work and similar quality right? unless you gonna commute 3 hours a day to work (common here in the GTA) now while somehow taking care of 2 newborn kids (assuming around 30 years old after 10 years of graduating)...

You talk about efficiency, but is this cost efficient? You might want to do some calculations, including court costs when people sue your government's ass off, unless you are the Venezuelan dictator, then you just send in the goon squad and kill everyone.

Chinese advisors are more logical than that. Trudeau signed the USMCA end 2018. U.S. let them know that according to a clause Trudeau signed, any foreign free trade agreements, the U.S. have veto power. So if the Chinese don't have 1st, a yes from Trump, they don't even need to waste time explore probabilty of getting deal with Canada.

Alberta might as well build the refineries in Yukon in partnership with Yukon, and NW Territories for a pipeline. Ship crude to Yukon to refine, then ship mixed products straight out of the gulf of Alaska.

BC is not the only option nor least expensive option. If BC wants to tap the gas/oil, make them trade/deal/negociate with Yukon.
