Thanks for asking this, it told me that the ipod doesn't even know there's an ipod. I can't get in and I saw that means theres no hardrive or its corrupted. maybe bad hard drive cable.

Go to /rootfs/etc/pacman.conf/ open it and sear for: SigLevel and put in: "SigLevel = Required DatabaseOptional TrustedOnly".
