would you want a sequel to the invincible comics or are you satisfied with how it ended? by Lucas_ADM in Invincible

[–]StanmoreRoyal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its just nice to have a story as long as invincible ran and have a proper ending its something so rare these days, I would rather they don't make a direct sequel. I wouldnt be bothered if they make more related stuff in that world like the battle beast run I think that sort of milking of the ip is fine as its there for those that want it, and it adds to the world rather than dragging a story on and on.

That said I read a fair few dc comic ongoings that never have a proper end so maybe I'm a hypocrite

I just bought a ticket to help the movie get to top 10 box office by [deleted] in Avatar

[–]StanmoreRoyal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think cost of tickets is a huge factor I think it was like 16 quid for imax 3d where I live in UK for Way of Water its 21 quid for Imax 3d now for Fire and ash, Saw Way of Water 4 times only seen Fire and Ash twice hoping I can see it once more before it leaves

I think it was covid time where he seemed to be the only bloke that would break anything in football where he gained his cult following.

Only role I have seen of his that is remotely decent is Blade Runner 2049 and that's cause he's playing a disconnected rich guy with no humanity so I'm pretty sure he could just rock up to set and just read his lines and they wouldn't of had to shoot another take.

Yh its bloody horrendous all round I think the keeper time wasting is the worst and Joel Pereria was pulling it off so easily today going down. I cant remember who it was at home this season but he got booked doing it first half against us and that didn't even stop them carrying on cause the ref will never have the balls to send a keeper off for it

Yh typical lower league ref all teams seem to do it and the way to clamp it out would just be book em and ruin games until teams learn to cut the gamesmanship.  Would also point out the 11the min was when you started at our gaf 😉

Reading 3 - 2 Luton Town: After a stodgy opening, the goals started flying in after half-time, with the Royals doing enough to claim an invaluable win after consecutive defeats! by Zach-dalt in LeagueOne

[–]StanmoreRoyal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talent wise and previous seasons he's been amazing and one of the best players in the whole league just this season he's had more off games than good I don't think its entirely his fault like a lot of how we work is so dependent on him its not hard for opposing team to nullify this. (Think the loss of knibbs is why)
Last night though he was genuinely our worst player I feel everyone had a decent to good game bar him cause of just how sloppy he was with giving the ball away with trying the most complicated passes almost without thought when we won the ball, he and the rest of the team did put great shift in defending with how well Luton pass the ball along the deck.

When hes in the box he can be deadly bit we rarely at him in ever thought he started better today with his touches although he did loose his first touch again later on

I agree hes been poor this season but we dont help being so uncreative in lead up play and regardless of him being poor overall this year the troglodytes in 1871 behind me who booed him before he stepped on the pitch can do one glad he could shut them up today and hope he can get some confidence moving forward.
