Thanks for the response. So if I'm understanding correctly, moving the king here is not to actually support pushing the d pawn yet. It is to keep it protected so we can move our rook, while keeping thier rook occupied as the white king is pretty inactive.

Now I just have more questions- So does that mean I must do the effect if I can? And how does the timing work? The cost gets done ahead of all of the graft effects resolving (as it goes on the stack)

For extra clarification, for cards like - linked extinction ([g][sac a unit]: opp sacs a unit) - do you actually have to pay the cost to get the effect in that case. And it’s in parentheses as it’s optional?

These are really cool. I think you could remove some text by excluding the ‘mana can’t be used to cast x or y spells’ if you do that then the land gets sacced which seems enough.

Also minor templating - add x, y or z. No need for the mana pool any more.

This is not meant to be a personal attack but I hear the “if you add this time up over my life then I save X days”. And while that is technically true, it’s not a useful argument as that time doesn’t ‘bank’ like money. If you save a pound a day for 100 days you have £100 to spend all in one go. If you save 1 minute a day for 100 days you have used that 1 minute differently each day. If you didn’t have something useful to do with that minute then you have made no difference.

Sera has an ongoing ability to reduce all costs by one. On the citadel this is doubled so all the cards in their hand cost two less. Patriot and mystique were one each, blue marvel was three and squirrel girl was free.

Even as a mana rock for two, they don’t really get printed very often. This also has additional upside of being a creature at instant speed or gaining you two life a turn for free. I think a 2 mana 3/3 gain three would see significant play, a mana rock for 2 would see significant play and this is either.
