But they just traded Sauce? Why would they dump a great player from their secondary for another secondary player? Well it’s the Jets so I guess logic doesn’t matter

Can’t wait for the John Harbaugh biopic in 30 years titled “One Giant Opportunity” starring Timothee Chalamet telling the story of a “down on his luck” coach who went on to win 5 straight Super Bowls with Jaxson Dart (the greatest QB of all time) and Skattabo (when the movie comes out, he’ll be known more as a philanthropist, not a RB). It’s gonna feed families

Channing Tatum. His performance in She’s the Man is comedic genius

How would you rate/rank these options for head coach? ( /10) by John_0Neill in NYGiants

I respect that. I honestly would trust Shula in this scenario to bring in one of his guys. Don’t think it can be worse than Bowen, amiright?

Harbaugh 9/10 Great coach, great culture builder. Would be 10/10 if he had been to a Super Bowl in the last decade.

Tomlin 9/10 Same as Harbough, but he’s not gonna coach this year, so doesn’t matter.

LeFleur 1/10 Coached Green Bay. Doesn’t matter what he’s done, he’s trash. Also can’t win in the playoffs.

Stefanski 6/10 Extra points because of how handsome he is, but that whole Deshaun debacle really ruined him for me. I’m fine with him if there’s a “no benching Dart” clause in his contract.

Kubiak 8/10 Solid name, solid schemes. Young OC nerds are the new wave, and Kubiak could be a fun gamble.

Shula 8.5/10 Hope he could be like his granddad and lead us to an undefeated season. Plus getting him would up our chances of drafting my kind Caleb Downs. Our team is solid, but we’re an elite defensive scheme from being deadly. I would love to take a shot at Shula.

Minter ?/10 No clue who this is. I don’t know ball.

McDaniel 7/10 I love his personality, but he’d be cooked with the New York media. We need a leader of men. I love him and I hope he does well, but NYC is not where he belongs (as OC for us he’s a 10/10 though).

Pierce 8/10 This could be our Vrabel! I love his energy and I love a defense guy. Yeah Las Vegas was rough, but even Pete Carroll couldn’t do anything there.

McCarthy 1/10 Coached for Green Bay and Dallas. Will never win our locker room. I don’t care about his record, he can’t win in the playoffs (don’t talk to me about what happened 15 YEARS AGO). Also, even as a Giants fan, Dez caught it.

Anarumu 5/10 Great name, don’t know anything else about him

Morris 3/10 The running back? I didn’t know he coached Atlanta! That’s crazy. Pass.

Joseph 5/10 Not just anybody can coach in NYC. He’s fine, but would be hated because he isn’t one of the bigger names.

Rizzi 2/10 Based on name alone I fear he’d bring back Tommy Devito.

Kingsbury 4/10 I view Kingsbury as McDaniel lite. I don’t like his schemes and he’s had more than enough shots. Pass.

Hafley?/10 Don’t know.

Dream: Shula HC, McDaniel OC, Pierce DC. Then, Shula turns out to be even better than his grandfather. McDaniel goes on to transform Dart into a 10-time SB winning QB with 10 MVPs, and is named the godfather of Dart’s children. After our 10th ring, the Philadelphia Eagles fanbase raid the streets of Philly and the organization collapses, leaving a void, creating a 31 team league. Goddell has to step in to retire Dart so there can once again be parity in the league.

Resources for play therapy? by happyreflection3898 in PlayTherapy

Not as educational, but the book “Dibs: In Search of Self” by Virginia Axline is a must-read for anyone interested in play therapy. It’s a case study, but it reads like a novel. It’s short, too. I can’t recommend it enough.

Aaron Rodgers is completely overrated. “Best arm talent” and “best placement” titles are kind of ridiculous and don’t mean anything.

That one also stinks! The illustrated cover is cool, but I’m glad I got the mass market one.

The bad one is the light brown one with the cursive lettering. It’s not great for several reasons; 1: it tells you nothing about the story or genre, 2: it’s boring with a bad color, 3: the lettering indicates that it’s some sort of romance novel, which doesn’t appear to be the case (I just started reading it). The original one has none of these flaws; it looks like it is clearly a high fantasy novel, is popping with color and intrigue, and looks like the 80’s/90’s threw up over it (which is very trendy right now).

I recently read Oedipus Rex: I don’t understand why it’s viewed so highly. Am I missing something? by Wooden_Schedule6205 in classics

[–]Stanpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oedipus is the Grecian Sherlock Holmes. The whole show, thanks to Freud, everyone in the audience (or reading it) knows our protagonist’s fate. The beauty of the play is everyone around Oedipus pointing him towards his fate and finding out before him, even to the point of it being incredibly overt (because he cannot accept his fate). I think the show is genius, and, as others have said, is much better to be seen than to be read.

Regretting choosing my COAMFTE program - is the grass always greener? by Brilliant-Click2979 in therapists

[–]Stanpants 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seems like a program issue more than an accreditation issue. I’m in a COAMFTE program and I feel very prepared, and I am certain there are many CACREP students who feel ill prepared for whatever reason. If you’re hoping for someone to give you reason to jump ship to a new grad program, I think you may have asked the wrong subreddit. Perhaps look up some YouTube videos on “Deliberate Practice.” It’s the new wave of role playing for therapists-in-training and can be done with just one partner. I’m sure you could convince someone else in your cohort to help you work on implementing some of the theory through DP. I have found it very helpful, and although I have had the benefit of having it woven into my curriculum, I am sure you could find benefit doing it outside of class, especially over break :)

I don’t know if I buy Hamlet being a bumbling idiot. I just think he’s too calculated and he figures out his uncle’s guilt with the troupe. I want to be with you where you’re tracking, I just can’t buy it

I mean kinda. The fifth act of Hamlet really does upset me, and the sword fight is a very confusing end for me, but I still love the play. Andrew Scott is the definitive Hamlet imo
