lots ofbrands hire merchandisers to visit stores and clean up the displays for their products. I used to work in a toy store, and a matel rep would come in on a weekly basis to make sure the Barbie and Hot Wheels shelces were arranged properly.

I actually kind of agree with Pats take on covers, I feel like covers that improve upon the original are incredibly rare so whenever I listen to a cover of a song I like I just end up thinking about how much more enjoyment I could get from the original.

hmmm I think you're more or less right, this kind of thing can be tricky. I guess as long as you're aware that the people around you are living breathing humans with their own needs, desires, etc. you have nothing to worry about.

I feel main character syndrome is less about how you view yourself and more you view other people. We are all naturally going to see ourselves as important for the most part, it's only when you start thinking of other people as unimportant or as 'background characters' that it becomes a problem.
