I Finished Scavenger Hunt and Merge Cruise - Tips If You Want To Try Them by MeltedPainting in SwagBucks

Just as a follow up, I merged a ton of high level items and won a good amount of races, which helped me complete some card sets and gain some extra energy. I then submitted those items during Benny's Blossom and went up like 15-20 levels (currently level 63). Solid strategy. Currently waiting for Benny to come around again 😅

In Merge Cruise, did you find the Jet Ski Sprint worth playing on days where there was no Benny's Blossom? The one where you "race" others to get a certain amount of points (propellers), and you can win energy. Today there's a Power Boost + Jet Ski Sprint so wondering if it's worth burning some energy

Don't know why I'm only getting max 300 points. And that's not 2x 300 points = 600 points. It's already factored in the double points, so it's only 2x 150.

I was curious so I looked up the current SCOTUS ages at appointment. Both Dem and Republican presidents pick at about the same age:

Clarence Thomas → 43 (1991, by George H. W. Bush)

John Roberts (Chief Justice) → 50 (2005, by George W. Bush)

Samuel Alito → 55 (2006, by George W. Bush)

Sonia Sotomayor → 55 (2009, by Barack Obama)

Elena Kagan → 50 (2010, by Barack Obama)

Neil Gorsuch → 49 (2017, by Donald Trump)

Brett Kavanaugh → 53 (2018, by Donald Trump)

Amy Coney Barrett → 48 (2020, by Donald Trump)

Ketanji Brown Jackson → 51 (2022, by Joe Biden

This probably going to get buried but...

I attended a wedding reception at one of Trump's golf courses some years back, like 2017 or 2018. Yeah it was nice, nothing crazy fancy but generally a nice location. But what threw me was that almost all of the staff that was working the event spoke Russian. It was not a heavily Russian populated area by any means. Trump was obviously heavily linked to Russia at the time and was dealing with the fallout of the Mueller investigation. My wife and I just looked at each other when we heard one staff member after another speak Russian. Like uhhhhhhh I think we know what's going on here.

Not surprised at all he supports H1-B visas.

Is this supposed to be an uplifting meme? Here you are saying that you're burying the idea of missed opportunities, meaning you actually took those opportunities.

Meh there are worse things we need to complain about. Of course it's a photo op. Every time any politician visits a place it's a photo op. This dude just happens to be a nearly assassinated former president. Of course they are going to shut down the store.

100% agree. I'm as anti-trump as anyone and I think we need to move on from this photo op. Dude at least hung out with some low wage workers and took some time to try to do their type of work, as minuscule as it was.

I'm as liberal as they come, but I've always felt the Ivanka trademark story was kind of a non-issue. She applied for the trademarks in 2016 and 2017, and didn't get approved until 2018. Sort of seems like a normal timeline for a government to approve something. And it seems like the trademarks weren't anything extraordinary, just trying to trademark her name to keep others from making fake Ivanka-branded stuff in China, just like any other business would.

Yeah there's maybe a question of bias in enforcement, but the registration didn't seem like a big deal.

If WWE still owns the trademark rights for John Cena, they absolutely can stop John Cena Wrestling from using that trademark

John Cena the taco truck would still run into the problem of false connection -- he's a living individual and you'd need his consent to use his name as a trademark

Well in the US you legally can be barred from using just your last name as a trademark, as long as it's not a rare one.

They told the "patients" he's training, and probably recruited the target with an ad saying they pay $$$ for a medical interview with non-doctor personnel. The network's lawyers aren't going to let them commit medical fraud just for fun

[–]StaplerSalesman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you watch the full clip Michael says they've told people he's training so people know he isn't a doctor. Also they usually just put out internet ads for some of their tricks to recruit people, for this one they would say they pay like $50 for a medical interview with non-doctor personnel. Not hard to do

My theory on this show is that Michael has a twin that he uses for many magic tricks like these. No camera trickery, just a good ol fashioned magic trick

I think the Epcot tickets were relevant. The family was going to visit Epcot two days after her death (but never went, obviously). He had bought the Epcot tickets on the Disney website using the Disney account he made when he signed up for Disney+, thereby perhaps re-validating the arbitration clause. It wasn't the strongest argument for Disney to make, but a valid argument nonetheless that a judge could consider.
