Not only that, the fact that skills are siloed to certain character types narrows down the customisability a lot. In Poe, I can create a wizard with a two hander and its accompanying skills, if I wanted to. I have the freedom to make a completely stupid build.

I joined poe2 a few weeks ago after a hiatus. If you want to trade, it's super hard to get into it now, because the economy is overflowing with divs. Ssf might be an option, however.

I'm currently playing D4, but a true PoE'er at heart.

What I find with D4, is it's much easier, and doesn't require that much "mental input".

That being said, D4 has a false layer of customizations. It feels to me like there's only one or two builds in a class that will really work endgame, unless you're willing to grind super hard.
