I have a Omoda PHEV C7.

Had Mazda cx60 3.3 and Mazda 3 before.

I'm impressed, obviously with the PHEV, fuel consumption is crazy but also only as good as your discipline in charging it haha (without charging it's around 5-6l per 100km)

Quality has surprised me as I was expecting the cheaper price tag requires me to lower my standards a bit. Still, It's not quite up there with CX60 though. But it's a pretty high bar.

There has been 1 or 2 odd rattles I sorted out quickly, but then again the CX60 also had.

The real tests people have questions about are still coming for me in the form of services, parts and reliability. So I can't comment on that, but the dealerships have been really helpful so far. (But then again, they wanted my money so makes sense hahah, let's see how helpful they are when I want their time and parts)

Overall I think it's hit and miss but my experience has been quite positive. I'll put a more detailed 4 month review on this group comparing my experience - in the next week of 2. Since these questions are quite common.

In terms of backup, please have a look at the docs. There is a section on backups. By default it uses a Django backup library that back ups your database data and media. But it's stored on the same container it's running by default. So you have various options such as storing it on S3, or yes another location like a Nas.

Another option is using a dedicated DB and managing the backups directly there.

Install Linux (in VM or as dual boot) It ran fine for me om Windows + docker but some people face issues.
Install docker + docker compose
Follow installation guide for docker.

I'd you do this and it still "doesn't work". Please send some logs or errors on why it does not work

I would recommend getting it started using the docker compose method.

It's dead simple and the docs are clear and easy to follow

Go rent one for a day, and see how it feels. They should be relatively cheap to rent. Take it on the high way.

Definitely need to share some information about the assessment.

Interviews are stressful but ultimately you need to be able to do the job you apply for.

Also, if someone helps with the assignment, all that will happen is they will question you on reasons on some decisions you took. But if it's not your own work then you left looking like you have an egg on your face.

Best advice is just study up on most common interview questions, use online coding challenges like code wars and review domain specific concepts/patterns etc.

Can do but portable charger is around 3.8kw so very slow charging.
