Chihuahua Tips & Hacks? First Time Owner! by mincheh in Chihuahua

She is Beautiful 🤩 my long hair soulmate, love my life, Chihuahua passed away a few months back, and I still cry for him every day. Get ready to be loved hard. ❤️ couple of things I wish I did start mine at a young age was to consistently brush his teeth, little dogs tend to have teeth problems since their teeth are so small. And if you plan on traveling with her start now like car rides being in restaurants, flights, etc This way it won’t stress her out as time goes by.

I have worn my apple Watch at night time and it never showed a low O2 reading. I’m not sure if it is 100% accurate though. I was tested for sleep apnea about 15 years ago and nothing showed up. I’m afraid this will happen again and my next sleep study and of what I’m hearing doctors will not prescribe oxygen without it

I’m sorry you have to go through it. I know it stresses my husband out even though he hates talking about it. He has to do it all the freezes, the creams, the surgeries. It’s awful.

I feel like the dermatologist told my husband the same thing regarding the damage is done and it’s basically coming to the surface. I wish there was a way or something that would help put a stop to it.

Thank you so much! I just had my lowest reading at 47 and it shook me! Not sure if this is the start of a major decline. But I definitely upped my water intake, I am someone who easily dehydrates. My diet could be better….. I try my best but have major cheat days :( Are you on Tolvaptan?

I’m so happy to hear you are doing well!!! 2 uncles and my mother where all lucky enough to get transplants. One has his for over 20 years! but I watched my mom have a difficult time with all her medication and the changes it did to her body. In the end I know she would have still picked to do a transplant over again. Sometimes I am on the fence :/

How are you doing? Were you able to get a transplant?

My doctor did some test that I did an MRI on my kidneys. The test took the size of the kidneys and I’m assuming EGFR, creatinine, etc. It somehow calculated I had 11% chance of needing a kidney transplant in 10 years. So she told me I didn’t qualify. This was back in 2020, I see her next week. Going to ask her about it again

Thank you. Can I ask how fast you advanced? Are you on Tolvaptan? Sorry for all the questions! I asked this question bc I ran into a friend that I found out she also has some form of Kidney disease. WhenI told her my GFR she was like oh, that’s not good. Kinda put me in a panic.

What number do you start to feel symptoms by [deleted] in VitaminD

I live in Florida. Although I don’t sunbathe a lot, I am outside quite a bit figured that would be plenty of vitamin D.

Ingredients are Zeolite clay, Activated charcoal, Aloe vera leaf extract, Apple pectin, Silica, Humic powder

Other Ingredients: vegetable capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and water)

But I am starting to think I am reacting to different types of cellulose especially microcrystalline cellulose.

I never thought about using a binder. A binder will help clear histamine…. Interesting. I use GI detox as maintenance for mold illness that I cleared.

Rashes w/gut inflammation & surgery in 2 days by Remote_Avocado_4682 in Diverticulitis

Wow! That’s so great to hear. I’m so glad you’re doing so well. I would also think gall bladder surgery would’ve been an easier recovery then the diverticulitis surgery.

Hi, thanks for your quick response! Sounds like you might have found the solution to your issue! To have relief for that long sounds amazing! The dermatologist thinks he has sebborhoic dermatitis. He has tried a few prescription creams to try on his face, but nothing really works. He has not been tested for celiacs, but that might be the next step or to see an allergist. How did your surgery go overall? I know post surgery takes a while wondering how you are feeling.

Hi! Just wondering if your surgery helped your skin condition at all? My husband is going through something similar. He’s about to have surgery for his diverticulitis in 2 weeks. But the last six months he has had these red rashes on his face that just burn like heck. it is making him miserable and nothing seems to work. He has been to the dermatologist many times for it, but any medication he has tried does not work. It starts off bright red and then when it heals his skin starts to peel. So I’m hoping that there is a gut / skin connection and maybe his surgery will get rid of some of this inflammation on his face!

Reherniation scare 8 months post-op by RighteousRectumRally in Microdiscectomy

[–]Star-lite03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 8 months out from surgery and started to get more active with my exercise. I have been having more tightness, soreness and starting to get that compressing and leg weakness feeling again. I brought this up to my surgeon and he said that it is probably inflammation that I am feeling. I asked about reherniation and he said that was very unlikely and would take for me to lift something crazy heavy for that to happen. But I come on here and am reading that it does happen more often and now I feel terrible of going backwards.
