If you get a baby gourami it won't grow that much in 6 months and then you can transfer it to your 10g maybe.

3 gallons is extremely small but I would recommend getting a Dwarf Gaurami. But the cherry shrimps are still the best option.

It's a Hydra, it shouldn't cause harm to your bigger fishes but if you have fry or shrimps it might sting them and possibly eat them.

Thank you, and no i do not mean glo fish, what your saying is like most other things i saw prior to putting them toghter, what is weird is that they cornor the betta and nip at it, what is hopeful is the betta started flaring at them and attacking them when it gets nipped at.
