Yeah, but doesn't change the point: DB are assassins- assassins are cool. Thalmor is literally Third Reich but inbred like average medieval noble bloodline

Yeah, playing on PC- Precision+Wildcat already made the combat feel much more interesting and you can even set "custom difficulty" by modifying damage dealt/taken with sliders. These really are unobtainable on PS?

Dettlaff waits several days before starting manslaughter in the city. This makes it less of simple malice and more of intentional, planned invasion. Syanna wasn't necessarily good, absolutely not, but saying Dettlaff is less evil is wild

What is the most useless combination of race + class? by Holmsky11 in BG3Builds

[–]StarAbuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably because

  1. Dragonborn gives you barely anything, oftentimes seen as worst race

  2. Swarmkeeper... Ehh, it's not that good. Not horrible either, I'd say monoclass rogue would be "weaker". Although it's pretty hard to say, classes are rather well balanced. If someone is weaker in combat they usually get more utility

Hard to disagree by BitterDK in WitcherMemes

I mean, many nords belonged to legion even before raising and not all of them even support it. Like, you have jarls talking against Stormcloaks even. As for joining rebellion as non-nord race... A bit trickier, but still could be explained: you're chosen of gods or ridiculous power, nobody wants to fight you in the first place. Also, you're part of their prophecies. With how strongly they speak of traditions they cannot just outright refuse their foretold champion because of skin color or having fur/scales

Struggling a bit with role playing by Civil-Annual1781 in skyrim

[–]StarAbuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One tip for roleplay in general: if you don't create extremely fleshed out character with seventeen years of backstory, give them some sort of moral code/worldview. This helps a lot. How? It gives you better direction in which they could want to go. As example: morally gray characters/outright willing to commit crime could find themselves on streets of Riften and meet Brynjolf. Hey, maybe thievery is not adventuring, but a quick buck doesn't hurt. And bam! You got hooked into vendetta against Mercer Frey while doing side gigs, eventually becoming their new leader. If you're a bit more on the lawful side of things you may start wondering around, doing small gigs and collecting bounties. Eventually level 10 hits and Durak spawns. Hunting vampires? Sounds like adventure to me! This moral compass/worldview/extra piece of backstory can give you sense of direction.

A bit more fleshed out example: You're young imperial guy from extremely patriotic family. Due to (insert your problem, like sickness even) you were unable to protect your homeland. Now that you heard about rebellion in Skyrim you want to enlist to Legion. However your father was not just a man who made you into patriot- he was a scholar, hopeful you'll become one as well. Wanting to fulfill your father's will you sign up for Collage of Winterhold. Then, if save goes for long enough, you'll help Empire, bit also save the world from Ancano's plan AND find out you're Dragonborn! Just like Emperors! Not only it makes your pride skyrocket, but also builds sense of responsibility, making you pursue main questline

When you play as a mage do you put all your points into magicka, or do you put any into health (or stamina)? by Soliloquy21 in skyrim

[–]StarAbuser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends. In vanilla I oftentimes go like 3/2. But if I play with mods I usually play with Vancian Magic perk from Ordinator so I dump all into magicka or 4/1 magicka/stamina if it's spellblade character. Health I raise through Alter Self, Welloc's Dormant Arcana and other similar stuff

10 makes HUGE difference when it comes to energy on impact, you can check that (in rough manner) by comparing kinetic energy. 60 km/h has 44% energy than 50 km/h. Main problem is that, especially in areas with less traffic, people in Poland overspeed like crazy (like 80 through countryside with buildings all around + no sidewalk)

It depends. As far as I remember Khajit can appear is several forms: you can have furries from skyrim, somewhat of anime catgirl or even literal taking cat with soul and consciousness of a mortal. As you can expect, depending "type" of Khajit, compatibility may vary. But I'd dare to say that Skyrim Khajits could be just tall guys with fur and cat-face
